Nice gesture but those have to be the worst headphones for the price..(I'm a dj so I know headphones)

Ah, of course you weren't talking in direct response to me. Of course you meant it in a general sense. That's why you included it in a direct response to me and posed the question in response to something I had said. When you included the question in your response, you were clearly making in the implication that I was one of the "people." That, my friend, is what you call in an inference question. Go back to your grammar school material. I think one learns about those around grade six or so.

People act like you have to dislike a person to point out a flaw or the fact that he has failed to produce. BB didn't trade for the guy for 15 receptions and 1 touchdown. Those are pedestrian numbers that a Pro Bowler, and by some estimates a future HOFer, should easily outperform. Not everyone who has criticized his lack of production hates him. There are just some of us that, as much as we may like him, still recognize that he's been a bust in NE and probably won't be back. That doesn't mean he can't go somewhere else and light it up.

So I give you the same advice you gave me in your previous response.

i agree. these headphones are all about the brand Dre. I would rather pay $50 cheaper to buy the Bose QC 2 or the $170. Either of them is way better then the Dre ones.

the brand is not Dre

the brand is Monster.....as in Monster Cables

kind of like air jordans.....micheal jordan didn't design them...he just had his name put on them

I think he was referring to the fact that a famous persons name is basically their "brand".

You could also say that Monster is the manufacturer, but they are Dr. Dre brand.

I agree. Unless you're running over 1K' of cable, gold-plated connecters are a waste of money. Even then, the signal loss would barely peg a meter.

Buy the least expensive cables you can find. If/when they give out, buy another set. That goes regardless of whether they are regular, HDMI, whatever. For any and all aspects in your home, you really don't need anything else.

Yeah I concur with this statement. I was looking for some high quality head phones and these are over priced for what they give.. And btw you don't have to be super rich to own a nice pair of head phones. Everyone has there priorities.. some people blow 4-500 dollars a month going out to bars. Some people blow 3-400 dollars a month on cigarettes, and I can guarantee lots of those people are not rich. So if you don't drink and you don't smoke and you don't use street drugs you can have some money left over.

I have heard the same thing about beats. They have a huge name behind them and that is why the price is so high. In short they are decent headphones but nothing spectacular. Skull Candy is trash. Last year I got those headphones and they broke after only a few months. At least the CS people were helpful when I told them what happened.

not really........I've listened to them both.....to me dropping $300 (anyone paying $400 for a pair of beats has to be ******ed) for any headphone is silly. you can get the same engineered product for $100 (I used to be an audio applications engineer for Analog Devices). I guess the reason for defending the beats was more due to the OP and the baseless guffawing that went on at the beginning of the thred. more if it had to do with not like the person or not liking dr. dre than anything else.

the only worthwhile products that bose ever put out are the 901's and 501 towers
