I'm not saying Mayo "sucks" I just think he's locally overrated because of his tackle numbers. So far I like what I've seen from Jarod in the preseason. He's a great blitzer and could have a career season at WOLB.

If Spikes doesn't get with the program and isn't part of this team, we lose a potential powerhouse at MLB.

If anyone hates PFF for whatever reason, here's another opinion...

Losing Spikes would be a major loss for the D.

I think Spikes is a good young player but claiming he is better than Mayo is crazy.

It doesn't seem to be based on much of anything, apart from uncertaintly over why he hasn't been playing--whatever injury there is, I gather, is even more mysterious than usual. Which has led to all sorts of speculation based on his (to me) completely incoherent twitter feed.

So essentially nothing that won't be cured by getting him on the field.

Reiss was speculating about an upper ankle sprain, those do require a lot of time, IMO we just need him ready for 9/12. Don't take chances in practice games.

I'd say it is pretty important that he plays. If he is too injured to play then we should get a replace ASAP!
