First it was because you guys had to many injuries. Now it is because of the turnovers. Face it we are a better team. Your precious tom brady saw Lynch coming at him the whole game and got rattled. We capitalized and yu did not. :p

God I wish your parents used a condom.

The game was a gift, now move on to troll the Steelers web site. The Steelers will win next unless they decide to hand the game over to you like the Patriots did. I wouldn't count on that though. :blahblah:

exactly...

...and it's pretty bad when even Fox's Terry Bradshaw agrees with us...

"Even though the Patriots finally lost, ending their playoff streak at 10 games, I still was left thinking they were the better team. If the Patriots played the Broncos 10 times, they would win most of them."

...at any rate you scored more points then us on Saturday and as a result, you get to host Pitt...I really have nothing against the Broncos...they were just the team on the field when New England beat New England...like I said and others agree, they don't belong. They are inferior to us and they will be inferior to Pitt...so smoke 'em while you got 'em Bronco fans...the jig will soon be up... :p

Interesting stat from the game that I heard on EEI - because of Patriots turnovers, Denver only had to move the ball 24 TOTAL Yards to score all the points they needed to win

That doesn't mean Denver doesn't deserve to win - but it also doesn't mean that Denver fans should kid themselves about how well their team played

Parcells used to say that "you are what your record says you are" - you could say the same thing about points scored in a game as well

So if you are using points scored to determine who the better team was on Saturday - and clearly that's the only stat that ultimately counts - Denver is the better team.

But Denver fans shouldn't kid themselves either - if they play the Steelers the way they played the Patriots they will lose.

Yea, Buster is just an idiot troll, I think most Bronco fans hate him as well, banning him is your best bet.

Well played game by you guys, you stuffed the running game, and that takes some doing. For whatever bizarre reason, the Broncos did not stick with the running attack. And when we ran, we ran to the inside, your strength, vs. to the outside with Bell. It was baffling. There is a reason we have and have had the best running attack in the NFL. It is how we win games.

So you can say "if we hadn't had those turnovers, we would have won," but I can just as easily say "if we had established the running game like we did 13 other times this year, we would have easily won."

Both of our teams played out of character in my opinion. We did not play to our strengths, and your team made a lot of uncharacteristic mistakes. Also keep in mind that wanting to stop the run doesn't always equate to actually doing it. We've had team load the line, and we still ran all over them.

If the nation watched and assumed the Denver O is really that spotty week in and week out, that's awesome. Hopefully teams will underestimate us. :p

If we get back on track, and establish our running game as usual, we have a great shot to dominate against Pitts and beyond. We'll see though. But good luck next year, you have nothing to worry about, I think your team will continue to be just as strong.

The thing that stat doesnt say is that the only needed to move 24 yards for 24 points.
If they had to move 200 yards for 24 points would they have?
Saying they only had to move 24 implies they wouldnt have scored from further out, but thats no certainty.

I just hate the idea of trying to devalue a win. You win because you make plays or the other team doesnt, and really, I believe if you remove key plays that were made, including turnovers, the team that won would have made other key plays and still won.

Skipped the last few pages of troll sniping, but this is a question as a Pats fan I struggled with. I think you have to say the better team won, simply because Denver beat us twice this year. Period.

Yes, we turned the ball over, but that's what happens sometimes when you play a team that is better than you. The Broncos were just overall executing their game at a better & more consistant level than the Patriots.

I said in another post, when your punter is forcing fumbles, you are doing something right.

The Pats were sloppy and Denver was succint. In the playoffs. That's what better teams do.

All that being said, if the Pats/Denver played next Sunday on a neutral field and you had to wager your life savings on who would win, I'd still take the Pats.

The better team did not lose. The better team doesn't make 5 turnovers. I'm a huge Pat's fan, but the better team definately won. Hell they were 13-3, against a much tougher division than ours, and though we had more yardage than they did, most of that came trying to come back. Let's face it, they thoroughly throttled us in both games. I can't say we were a better team than them this season, or in the playoff game. The best team won, period.

Let's hope next year is a different story.

It took me a while to come to this point, but like I said last night on a thread that got promptly moved....

Hats off to Denver. They won the game. No, they didn't outplay us. No, the officials didn't call the game leagally (lets stop pretending here). But this time isn't the first time for that. Yes, we moved the ball and they didn't.

But they followed rule #1 in the great book of BB. They took care of the ball. 1 turnover. We had 5. That is why we could always overcome any biased officiating and close game. We never made mistakes and we never turned the ball over. How many false starts did we have? Stupid mistakes cost us the game.
Denver had precious few of them. They won because of it.

Yes, all this is true. But clearly, the only thing that impressed me about the Broncos Saturday night was the intelligence they displayed in not looking a gift horse in the mouth!

They are a good team, well-coached, but let's see how they fare the rest of the way before we anoint them as "the next New England Patriots"!

Should they win it all, I'll be the first to extend my congratulations (plus, I'll have to deal with a gloating brother-in-law during the off-season!), but then having said that, I'll extend a warning to Broncos' fans. Next season it'll be YOU with the painted targets on your backs. You'll find out first-hand how it feels to play a schedule that features every team's A-game.

And if memory serves me correctly, we have you in our house next season!

And won't we all look forward to that?!?

Well anyone who thinks we played our best game is crazy, that was probably one of the worst performances in the last three years. We didn't bring our A game, we didn't even bring our B or C game. If we did then I think we wouldn't have made as many mistakes as we did and I think we would have come out on top. I think if we play again 10 times, we win 7 times. We moved the ball on the Broncos at will until we gave up the ball too easily and stupidly.

And Broncos trolls and get a life and go be a troll on the Steelers board now.

Actually, if we play the Steelers the way we played you guys...then we'll have five take aways and win by 14.

> If [the Broncos] get back on track, and establish our running game as usual

IMO, the running game wasn't there because NE stopped it; same way i still feel that NE turned over the ball because Denver caused them.

If the Steelers can't stop the run like NE did, then Denver will be fine.

Play with Words

How is Better judged? and more so does it really matter?
What happens when the best doctor in the world has a bad day?

The intent of the article is to simply state that the Bronco's play better than the Patriots on Saturday. I am a Patriots fan but I can not dis-agree.

Infact in watching the game I was thinking that I was watching the Patriots vs Colts, with Denver playing Patriot football and Patriots playing like the Colts (moving the ball but making costly turn-overs).

Congarts to Denver
