He has yet to be picked we could still trade up and grab him or hope he drops to the mid 4th.

They must have been set on taking him and then Carolina called offering a ridiculously one-sided trade.

I hope we trade up and grab him, I have a feeling he is going to be a beast.

What about Ricky Sapp? He fell too....

Well, I am guessing they were planning to take Price and Griffen and when the Panthers offered the 2011 second rounder, Griffen drew the short straw and the Pats made the trade and drafted Price.

late 3rd or hopefully 4th you cant really argue with the value, i mean some fans would have been fine with him at 22 a week ago

It won't be a 5th to move up...it would be a 6th or 7th at most.

I want us to draft Everson Griffen sooo badly! I really wanted Te'o-Nesheim, but the Eagles did what they do best and scooped up one of our LBers. :enranged:

Griffen would be a nice consolation.

Well that depends. Would you use a 3rd or 4th on Jamaal Anderson or Vernon Gholston?

I think BB is going to draft this kid, he's a true JR, so there is a lot of upside in picking him. I'm betting BB moves up and drafts him, a similiar situation happened with Crable two years ago when SD offered their 2nd in the next draft as well.

Ditto. At this point he's well worth the bust potential. 1st round talent in the 4th round doesn't come along very frequently.

No, I said the same thing happened with Crable where Bill called Crable to tell him he was going to be drafted and then traded out of the spot and ended up drafting him later.
