Took me exactly 0.000001 second to pick Denver.

oops wrong thread!

Unlike the Saints, Colts aren't going to actively pursuit going 16-0 anyways.

If they win this week they'll then be able to coast.

Denver owns a tiebreaker over us if they can win the AFC west, so it's best for them to keep losing for hopes of a seed higher than #4.

The tiebreaker doesn't matter the slightest bit to me, if we make the playoffs we are going to have to beat good teams anyways.

Its ok to say here that you would be thinking of something like that, but I would feel dirty hoping the Colts win knowing that they are very likely to go on to a perfect season of they won this one.

I certainly want the Broncos and Josh to do a number on them.

With out question or hesitation.........DENVER.

Denver for sure, so sick of Indy winning every week

I will never forgive the Giants for slipping through the playoffs and playing way over their heads against a nervous Patriots team. The most mediocre team ever to win a Super Bowl. My two favorite teams are truly the Patriots and whoever plays the Giants.

If the Patriots played with 1/2 as much heart as that Giants team they would have won that game along with the recent few we lost (possible exception with New Orleans).

I hope that Indy and NO both go undefeated so Kraft will take down that lame 16-0 banner.

Indy because I want the Pats to beat undefeated Indy in the AFCCG and then undefeated Saints in the Super Bowl!!!! haha
I support this pipe dream

Agreed, its just serves as a reminder of that painful superbowl and celebrates mediocrity. Its like how the Buffalo Bills have banners celebrating 4 consecutive AFC Championships

Re: OT: Broncos at Colts next sunday.....Who do you want to win?

IT would be an awesome thing to see....but for this weekends game, I want to see Pay-A-Ton Manning loose to McDaniel's this weekend. It will hopefully prove that all he is an overpaid wanna be tv commercial actor.

I came in expecting some colt bashing but this is beyond anything ever.

Obviously I vote the Colts ;)

A couple of things:

The Colts fans, in general, could care less about going undefeated, they only care about post season success, which is understandable since the Colts have done it very consistently in the regular season and only truely one year in the playoffs.

Manning's not done or really close, but you can start to at least think about it and understand these are the salad days. Great regular seasons just aren't good enough anymore, imo.

I think the players from all of the quotes feel the same way that the playoffs are what matters, not undefeated.

NE kinda took the sizzle off of the undefeated regular season, so it's not really as big of a deal as it was for NE. Another words, it's been done and recently, and it didn't end with a ring.

If the Colts win this weekend, they'll basicaly shut it down for many key players since they lock up #1 seed. Agree or disagree with this strategy, it's what they'll do, with undefeated season having no bearing on this decision.

So with that said, I'd say Jax and the Jets both with everything to play for against a second half of Jim Sorgi and Mike Hart that it's a moot point about undefeated, it just won't happen.

I'm obviously rooting for the Colts to win, but I would not be heartbroken to see another meaningful week, so that the team has to play full throttle at least one more game.

To me, and many Colts fans, players, etc., 16-0 means absolutely nothing. Only post season success matters now.

if the colts win they get HFA throught. which means manning wont play against the jets which could effect our chances of winning the division. Jets have the easiest schedule right now with tampa,ATL,indy and cincy with both indy and cincy having clinched something by the last two games come around.
Pats conversely have to play who have nothing at stake other than play spoilers except maybe the jags at home.

I have to respectfully disagree. I want one of these in LOS.

I save rooting against the Colts for the playoffs. If anything, being 16-0 come playoff time would put even more pressure on the one and dones that are the Colts, and the Pats being them in the divisional round would be the icing on the cake.
