I saw this TOOL in the media tent at the afternoon practice sporting his "pregame" t-shirt yucking it up taking pictures. Even if its half true why would you burn bridges like this. I can't imagine this is going to be a long term gig like working for the globe or herald and what ever inside sources in the pats he has I am sure will dry up. This was childish and totaly unnecessary, and he is twice the tool for using pat patriot at the top of the story, you reep what you sow dude!!!

It's all about hit counts and getting his new website in the news. The guy is scum.

Several years ago Tom Casale was to begin covering UConn football for UConnfan.com. It never materialized as he backed out. When some of the site mods were asked what happened to his supposed interest in the job, the reply was, "Let's just say the man has a lot of issues and will not be covering anything for us." It was at that point that bells went off for me about this guy. This just heightens the alarm. Keep all sharp objects away from this man.

Nah! If NE Insider is really a Patriots insider and not a hoax, he/she is more connected than Casale ever was and my take is is much older than Casale. I am guessing Casale is in his twenties and NE Insider consistently called Moss a kid.

Two things:
1. I don't think that the thread sould be closed or deleted even if the site posted is garbage. It serves to show what crap there is out there and what not to click on. Let's keep it up for a day or two, so everyone who wants to comment on it, can.

2. This is the internet. Anyone with a computer in their mommy's basement can sit in their underware and "blog" away. Doesn't mean there is one thread of truth or merit to what they "blog".

Now if another mod feels differently and wants to close or delete the thread, then I'm fine with that. But the thing was posted and people have commented, so closing it now would deprive others of the chance to do the same.

The entire story is posted on the Footballguys.com forums. It is one of (if not THE) most heavily trafficked sites on the internet. Hiding from it really makes little sense, but I will delete it, and we can all close our eyes and pretend it wasn't written.

"Working for the team" doesn't mean you are trusted and get to see the real players/coaches. Especially if you still work in a media capacity. There's a general perception most people have out there that when they get the keycard to get them through the doors, they're in the "circle of trust" and just like one of the guys. That isn't the truth. Sure, for some employees it is, they can earn their way in. But most players and coaches- especially the most successful ones- are naturally skeptical, because they don't want something like this to happen. In general, anyone who ever earned the trust of the players would never come out and blast one or two of them, lest he immediately be shut out by the rest.

I roll my eyes at articles like this. Take the experiences that you've had with these players at face value, and don't let someone like this guy taint that opinion.

Wow. I'm not sure this loser even deserves comment except to toss this crap in with the rest of the garbage which appears to represent a fairly decent-sized portion of our local sports media lately.The Teletubby, Tony Maz (will you ever forget his insane rant just a few months ago), Bob Ryan... those are just the most recent examples that come to mind this early in the am. If we took the time we'd be able to list off a few more I'm sure.

This latest blog is nothing short of sickening, and any other media members who use it as tick fodder are no better than the author-jmo of course.

My guess is Casale's in deep with gamblers. This "blog post" reeks of a deeply disturbed person who's lost his humanity.

I also believe he was asked to leave by the Pats for "personal shortcomings" probably related to gambling.

He is just one of those bad guys, whose place really is Vegas, until he ends up in jail or dead.

THAT is such a true statement...Casale has MANY issues..and heading to Vegas with them is not really going to help..but frankly I really don't care at all about him..Going out like that shows what a true sicko and classless person he really is..scum might be too nice a word for him..As for the rest of them...I stopped listening a few years ago..when they expanded their time from 1 to 2 hrs..More time and less talk about football that mattered..I can only imagine how poor it is now..more about them than anything in depth..More embarrassing than ever...Worst..it's sad but true..and what they COULD have would be something really good..BUT??

Look, Paul Perrilo is excellent and if you are a Ture Pats fan you have to like Fred, he's just a complete Homer.

I can't argue for Andy or Erik, but that show gives a view from insdie the Patriots that you don't get from many others, like them or not.

I know Paul checks this site and I would love to hear his view on this. Paul???

This guy is giving us as much insight as a fence post. You mean everyone on the team dosn't love teddy wow what a shocker. And I don't buy his point that he is not a team leader he may not be "the team leader" but they don't keep him around because he is a pro bowler, team leader dosn't everyone loves you it means they have to listen and respect you.
He say's Teddy, corey and others are jerks what exactly dose that make him for writing this garbage airing out someones dirty laundry online.

I do feel bad both for those 2 guys.. espically paul perillo, a very underated pro football writer. He also said some things about Bruschi, but Bruschi approached him afterwords.. Fred made this guy , and he spit right back in his face, and today Fred is probably hearing it work and if it gets to a site like florio or god forbid espn, look out .. And Casale who I think has a lot of issuies, lost all respect for him with Mrs B thing as well, better hope this gambling site works out because he burned his bridge at pfw..

It is hard to take anything seriously if they are just thrown out there without any concrete examples of what made him feel that way. Seriously, PFT may be a rumor mill, but even they are going to read that and see that there is nothing there that actually backs up anything he is saying.

This is much ado about nothing. It is comical that people even want it censored.

Fans who hate the Patriots will jump all over it because it feeds their delusion and makes them feel better about themselves. However, if not this they will make up something else to serve that purpose. No real press is going to look at it as anything as a source because they realize it is all unsubstantiated innuendo.
