Walsh to speak on HBO [merged]

Re: Matt Walsh Interview

Way to ignore the biggest piece of news in the HBO interview, namely HBO quoting an unnamed "offensive star" of the Patriots from those days saying that at least some players knew about the taping of the opposition's signals and that the stealing of signals actually was a great help to their offense. That's the big news that's going to come out of this interview, once the mainstream media gets off their rears. My guess is it's Antowain Smith, since wasn't he kind of forced out of NE on a rail with the addition of Corey Dillon?

Isn't it about time that someone states something with substance. I'm guessing that most of these sources are no longer playing, and maybe not involved with football. What would they have to lose to give any credibility to their accusations. So far, we have unnamed sources and I heard from a guy who knows a guy.
BTW, anyone have Official Patriot's gear. I'm wondering what it looks like inside out.

As I mentioned earlier, nobody knows since it renders the wearer completely undetectable.

Here is a preview of the interview w/ Walsh. Just watching it you can tell he is a dirtbag.

Walsh claims that he was told to turn his patriot gear inside out to hide his identity, but Belichick said you can see you him filming on the sidelines during the game if you watch gametape. It would be a small victory but it would be cool if we could prove Walsh a liar yet again here.

He is evil personified. I felt like I was watching an interview with a would be serial killer

Don't be such a homer. When I want to avoid being noticed, I always turn my clothes inside out. It is scientifically proven to help avoid detection. Something about light not reflecting off the inside of clothing, but instead being drawn in like a black hole. A side benefit is that it also provides stealth ability like spy planes...so opposing teams couldn't even use radar to find Walsh.

Think about it. Have you ever noticed people walking down the street with their clothes inside out? Exactly...

If Belichick thought this filming was within the rules, why would he put in place such state-of-the-art technology for avoiding detection? He wouldn't. How much clearer does it need to be?

I'm Mark Schlereth and I approve this message.

Absolutely, the genius of BB never ceases to amaze me. Why put on a totally unaffiliated polo shirt, or even strategically place yourself in a prime seat in the stadium, or up in the booth (thereby all but guaranteeing you don't get caught), when all you have to is stand in the open, on the sideline or endzone area with your Patriot shirt inside out.

****ing Brilliant.

You ever see that movie Preditor? It's like that. Just a shadowy blend of the terrain and background. It's like you think you see something, but then again you don't.

The question is how could the Jets find someone who was so expertly disguised? My guess is some kind of heat-seeking and DNA matching technology combined with subcutaneous tracking devices planted on the Pats video crew over the off-season. Obviously Belichick's counter-measures of gene manipulation and E.M. scattering fields weren't enough to keep Walsh hidden.

I hear that Ernie Adams is experimenting with sub-space and wormholes so I expect the 2008 team to be able to capture signals not just from current games...but from past and future games at the same time. How can you be caught when you are spying from a different place in space-time? Take that Goodell!

RE: the Jets. I didn't wanna really post this on the open website due to the sensitive nature of the topic, but actually heard it from friend, of a friend that frequents that same bath-houses that Mangini does. They are way ahead of us in this field.

They are working with one of those special people from the TV show Hereos, you know that guy that bends the space-time continuum. They'll have the same ability to do just as you say. They be able to freely move in time/space, getting signals from every past and future game in the the NFL, college, high school and pop-warner leagues.

Not sure if its posted on the JI website yet, but the new "video assistant" for the Jets is Hiro Nakamura.

Seriously, Mangina believes having this guy prowling the sidelines will improve the JETS ability correctly guess the defense plays to 14%, up from 4% last year.

Re: Matt Walsh Interview

Guys, I just reported what I saw on the show. Watch it yourselves. HBO's narrator didn't name the player, but that's what they claim he said--they talked to said player and this part didn't come from Walsh. Kind of puts a hole in the whole "didn't help much argument" though, doesn't it? I wonder who it was if it wasn't Smith?

Not at all, but not knowing the player, it means little. On the level of the player (or video guy), they really have no basis to determine if the signs helped or didn't, unless that person was Brady or Bledsoe (they would be the ONLY ones that knew as the setup is only whispered in their EAR). It could only be a QB. The players, just get the call of the play, or audible from the QB and run it. They execute, they don't get into it at this level. It sure ain't Brady and you could argue that if it was Bledsoe, he probably has as much (if not more) spite towards the Patriots then Walsh does. He didn't exactly leave on good terms.

Re: Matt Walsh Interview

I have no desire to watch that scumbag so for anyone who did watch it, did Kramer ask him why he didn't just come right out when this all started and say he did not tape the walkthrough???? THAT is the one question I want answered, because by not doing that it does seem like this guy has a real agenda against BB and the Pats.
