Again, put down the koolaid, there's way too many calories in it to justify the taste, it's not worth it. Put it down............

you want to complain go ahead, dont expect everyone else to as well. Let people say what they want.

Answer the question. You're the one that said you could do better, make a thread and tell us how you'd have done it.

:D

Let's just START WITH THIS:

How do you come out of this draft without one of the top 7 CB's on the board, a HUGE, HUGE need for us! Let's just start with that.

OH, and you like the draft so far huh? put down the koolaid..........

Lets see, Pats needs are at ILB, OLB, CB, OL

and they DARE draft earlier than 5th round a ILB, OLB, and TWO CB's as well.

WHAT the F@$€ are they doing!! Where is the TE?? BB & Pioli ALWAYS draft a TE.

They really have lost all of their senses now.
Probably Alzheimers

I think some of you need to think about this logically and trust in what the FO are trying to do

We've got a LB who will be on the line for many years and a potential pro-bowler. A CB who is blazing quick and good in coverage. Potential to start next year if he develops in the system. An OLB who looks a real prospect as pass rusher with some development and bulk. A backup QB with possible huge upside to bolster what is a real weakness if Brady goes down. A special teams ace / kick return specialist

And an extra no.2 next year

Its not all bad .. if im honest I would rather an OL over Wheatley but the FO maybe knows Neal aint as beat up as we think, so lets see how the kid does. Bailey, Shepherd, Asante .. none of these guys are over 5'10 are they?

I'm not too sure what else people wanted. Bear in mind we have young guys on D like Woods, Merriweather, Alexander etc that are still being developed

"on the board"...that would obviously be your board, not the PAT's board.

CHILL OUT !!

And all this time I thought the main problem was lack of speed and youth at LB?

Or was it the lack of a pass rush?

This is a team that won with Earthwind Moreland as a DB.

Seriously, we need to replace Pioli with Mel Kiper then we can draft straight off "the board".

Do you agree that they got one of the top 7 CBs on THEIR board?

I just keep remembering that quote from Ron Borges when the Pats got Seymour, and the bit about Mankins.

Between Zak Deossie last year, Goff this year, and the Super Bowl, the New York Football Giants make me sick.

Lampshade, how about a deal up for Cason or Groves, we had the ammo ....

If we did that for Groves we still wouldn't have one of your top 7 corners.

At what point would you have traded up?

Let's try this:

Cason/DRC or MJenkins and Groves (a small deal up)

or

Mayo and Wheatley

What combo do you like better?

Jets draft Ainge. Give Clemens some competition - probably smart to push him some.

The Colts get Marcus Howard, which is a great pick for them in the 5th round.

YOU: I'm smarter than BB. He is a dope. He makes moronic picks that don't align with the PFW and ESPN mocks. I'm so much smarter than him. Yadda yadda blah blah.

ME:
It must be tough to be someone like Deus or Hoge, to be so much smarter than BB/SP and yet they get all the glory just for building the biggest dynasty in the FA era.

YOU:
Nah.... I don't have to be smarter than BB/SP. I just have to be smarter than you. And that was accomplished before I was even born.

I'm smart enough to know that BB has moved up to pick a player I never heard of, and that MAYBE that indicates he knows a bit more about players available than I do. If you knew all about Slater, his strengths and weaknesses, and watched hours of tape on the guy, then bully for you. Second guess BB all you want.

I suspect you never heard of Slater until you saw his name come up. If you stop trying to scream how smart you are, and pay attention to people who know more than you and try to find out why they picked who they did, you might learn something.

Nah.... I don't have to be smarter than BB/SP. I just have to be smarter than you. And that was accomplished before I was even born.
Alas, this post proves that you are not. If you think about it, or have an adult explain it to you, this post makes no sense at all, like the rest of your posts.

What does you being smarter than me or not have to do with your being smarted that BB and SP?

I never claimed to be smarter than you. I say that in knowledge of players available in the draft you are a relative moron compared to the acummulated knowledge and resources of BB/SP. You may like other players better, and that is cool. We all have favorites. But subscribing to ESPN Insider and reading Mike Florio just doesn't give you enough info to make you as smart as you seem to think you are.

Right and we passed on those guys and Goff for a guy name Matt Slater.......But that's fine, pass the koolaid please, everything's fine...........

Well that's not the choice. You're forgetting to include what they would have had to give up in the trade.

Again, at what point are you trading up to? To get up to pick #26 to get Cason I dread to think what the cost would have been.

edit: hold on, are you suggesting Cason at #7 or #10 or what? I don't understand how you got to those picks.

Dude, based on what I just said, we're talking about taking McKelvin/DRC at 10 and simply dealing our 2 and high 3 up to get Groves, thus still leaving us our 2 - 3's. Pretty simple.............There's our pass rush and lockdown corner in place for the next 6 years.................Instead we do have stud ILB that isn't going to be an edge rusher and still a very suseptible secondary with no true #1 corner.........
