I have seen a lot of threads about pats colts rematch blah blah blah. Look patsies, and listen for once. You guys had better take the Jags seriously. They can run the ball better than both of our teams. Their defense is bigger, faster, and better than both of our teams. And they have a QB who doesnt make very many mistakes. Ok, some of you are going to give the lunkhead response, and some of you are very well spoken and intelligent fans. So just be aware that the Jags are far from a gimmie win for anyone.
Cool. Take em for granted. I dont care. Its your team. We already beat em twice, and they DO have a better defense. IMO. Is that better for ya?
I would say the colts are in the easier bracket.
Number 1 "we" don't play the games, The New England Patriots play the games. So if "we" want to look past any player or teams it doesn't matter because this is just an entertainment venue. As fof the Jaguars, I am more than sure the the very capable Bill Belichick has his staff already breaking every aspect of their team, if you haven't noticed he has coached this team to 3 SB not to mention 2 17+ game winning streak. Exactly how many big games have the Jags been in this year, 2 both Indy lost them BOTH compare that with Pats: Indy road game, Dallas road game,I have seen a lot of threads about pats colts rematch blah blah blah. The Colts already beat the Jaguars twice... the Patriots are a better team than the Colts, so why should they have a problem with the Jaguars?
Frankly, I think the Browns beat the Steelers, and the Chargers beat the Jaguars. Then the Colts have to deal with the Chargers and the Patriots get the Browns.
Let me get this straight... you lend credence to the Colts sweeping the Jags... but dismiss the fact the Steelers swept the Browns? Inconsistent.
But even beyond that, the reason the Colts sweep over the Jags doesn't have much bearing on a potential Jags-Pats matchup is this: pro football is more of a game of matchups and motivation than any other sport... hence the saying "on any given Sunday".
