Oh so classy Mr. Dungy...

It surprised me and scares me slightly that Randy Moss approached Dungy before the game last week and said I love you coach I respect you as a man and a coach.
Something along those lines.
Dungy also approached Seymour and someone else and told them they had the heart of a champion.
He seems like a good guy for the most part I hate the Colts as well, but my hate goes mainly on Manning.
I really didn't like the comments Dungy made on spygate but he seems to have alot of players respect.
He definitely has Moss's.

Could you give a link to this tear jerking portion of the game?

Come on people, we Patsfans have to be be fair and consistent. If football fans everywhere are supposed to be upset by bad calls, there were two big errors that the Colts should have had - the non-PI on the bomb to Moorehead and the quick whistle on the end zone interception.

Honestly, I don't know the rules well enough to judge the late penalty. But the Colts did get screwed on two plays.

If you're going to bash Colts fans for being inconsistent, then lets be consistent ourselves.

The end zone INT quick whistle was not a bad call at all. Yes, the whistle never should have been blown, but it was not a bad call in any way. Once a whistle blows, the play is over no matter what.

So they were screwed on one call.

That's cuz Tony has taken a lot of shots as a black man in a position of authority..and has risen above it.....of course randy loves the guy...that's why he told him..because basically, Dungy really had ho gameplan to stop the greatest freak WR in NFL history...and believe it, Randy Moss broke the Colts back in the 4 th quarter. And he knows it..and Dungy knew it too...just like Dungy knows Big Sey is a player any coach wants to build a D around. Ok the Golts played tough..then why in the fourth quarter did Brady just throw it up in coverage at crunch time risking a game ending INT??? Because when you have Randy Moss running that route, 99% of the time you're goona win...that was no mistake...the Pats set that up..sure it was a close game, hard fought, lot of emotion...means **** at crunch time...when you have Moss you have the EDGE..period...thjat ball was underthrown..if Brady thre it when he should have randy walks in...please...I love the Pats and I love their single minded adherence to team ball...but BB ain't stupid...you get the chance to get the GREATEST FREAK WR in football history and team him with the arrogant, fiery , intelliget Brady...YOU BUILD BRADY'S confidence...Christ,Moss was there all goddamn day and the freaking Colts know it

I would have loved to see the look oh polians face after adam missed that late FG. He was trying to mock the patriots by picking him up, hows that working for ya? Maybe BB and the patriots are smarter than we thought when they decided to part ways with adam. missed two this week, one last week, one in the super bowl, two last year in new england, including one late that would have sealed it for the colts. people forget that because the colts won anyways, but adam missed a kick that would have put them up 10 points late in the game

Just because Patriot players tell Dungy they respect him doesn't mean they don't respect Belichick. I'll stick my neck out and bring in the race issue here and say that Dungy being the first black coach to win a SB made these men even more proud of him. After all, that is a huge accomplishment for any man.

But don't think these actions reflect negatively on Belichick at all, because they don't.

Why would they?

I never said they reflected on BB in a negative manner, I was just showing some examples of Patriot players showing genuine respect for Tony Dungy as a man and coach.
They know better than me his character demeanor and professionalism besides the cameragate thing that really ticked me off, dungy never really rubbed me the wrong way.
I agree religion should be left out of the conversation when were talking about professional sports.
It just surprised me that before the game Randy would go out his way to walk up to Tony Dungy.
It just scared me a little bit cause some poster the other day said about what if the colts tried to steal Moss?
I just saw the nfl replay on nfl network I had it on my dvr and just watched it a little while ago.
He'd be crazy to leave TB and BB I don't think he will just wanted to know if anybody else saw Randy embrace Dungy and Dungy walk up to Seymour it shows the respect they have for one another.

Of course..and it's because thes players are superstars..and superstars DOMINATE..and they KNOW Coach dungy has as much respect for them as ANY players in the NFL. But Moss and Sey are with the Pats because this undersized 6 th round certain cut by every other team made the clutchest plays in Super Bowl history...a brother who was essentially a ******* NOBODY...right there...the biggest stage..and made the greatest pressure catch in Super Bowl history...The Rams had the fasted four best WR's in the NFL that year...but the BEST WR in that game or any HUGE game ever played was TROY BROWN... TROY SHORT SLIGHT ROSTER FODDER BROWN . THAT:S who won that goddamned Super Bowl...that's who the green Brady ONLY trusted at the end...and TROY ****ed the whole goddamned world up...and got almost zero recogmition for it....the rest of the Pats stars busted his balls about going for big money, fat contract after that...he signed for dust. And he's here for !# years.Branch had to "feed his family"...no Branch was in the best place he could ever be...and today the press keeps wondering""" what thell is wrong with BB and Pioli??? Why the hell are they carrying this washed up runt overchiever in the twilight of his career this season???"....Troy Brown IS the Patriots...more than any other player...we always had a hard time in Miami for years...we're getting punked as usaul...game goes to Ot...Pats backed up...Brady just sacked ...another in a long line of Orange bowl losses...Surtain and Madison in their primes locked the passing game dow.... what happened??? does anybody remember???******* A...Troy Brown 88 yards on 3 and 15...see ya...you don't think the rest of the team doesn't get closer. Troy couldn't beat Madison or Surtain...everyone knew that...Madden stated the Pats were playing for overtime against the rams..of course..it HAD to be...logical football sense...roolie Tom Brady threw consecutively to Troy Brown with a minute left...field goal...biggest underdog win in history. Who was the best reciever in that game?? Ricky Proehl? Az hakim?..the ******* four all pros?? Troy Brown was the best reciever in that game and the ******* Rams knew it...how could HE be so cold blooded? The Bolts have the game won..fumble!!..it's over ...everyone is going wild on the field...oh wait...troy Brown stole ******* ball!!! Wgo the **** has EVER done that with so much on the line and with certain defeat imminent and chaos about to break loose...only ONE player never choked and only one player made the ONLY play that could possibly be made to thwart certain defeat. Troy Brown...who wouldn't even consider leaving the NE Pats and who has NEVER been a me first money problem. Why??? That's why Law left and Seau came. Seau was a huge big shot his whole career...but deep inside his real desire was to WIN...he came here becuase he's a real football player...and when you see a Bruschi ******* all these high powered teams up and negotiating his own contracts..it amkes you amke that decison...greed...or THESE are the guys I want to play with.

Adalius was miffed by the Indy game plan...the press tried to blow it up...Rodney shut Clark down because that is what the full strenght Patriot D does ...exactly what it atkes with the right personnel . Adalius is a supreme talent...and these guys are assuring him he'll get his shot. I'm thinking the playoffs is when he goes ******* beserk...and when he does, no team will be able to handle the full strenght Patriot defense. Watch. You see, he saw Colvin go wild in that game, he knows he can easil ahve done the same thing..But he is far more versatile...so when Colvin goes wild like he does A.T. will bring an insurmountable defensive quandary.A.T still has that Raven mindset but this isn't raven defense...this is who knows what really coming when the pressure is really...THAT is BB's Greatest asset...I've seen and I've learned to not even think about it. Rodney stays healthy the Pats are gonna throw shutouts at the end of the season

Well said Joker, perhaps the deification of Tony will now subside as he seems to be entering the dark side.. blaming others for his losses.

colt fans are amazing.

1 week after they tell pats fans that "bad calls happen" they want to make a formal complaint to the league...jeez.

they are also throwing AV and TD under the bus but no one is complaining about Manning throwing this game away (literally)

Also, colts had 4 calls against them for 21 yards O BOOO HOOOO.

Chargers had 10 calls for 78.

Actually, they got screwed nearly 70 yards by the inadvertent whistle on the "leg bounce" interception. Still, the specials teams and red zone offense of the Colts are an Achilles Heel for them.

Hell I don't care if the Colts whine as long as they lose. Whining is standard operating procedure in Colts land. Polian has mastered the art of it. It's not surprising that Dungy and Peyton are singing that same whiney tune.

So can the Colts pull their tails out of the tailspin or will they sit on the excuse that Marvin and Ugoh are out? Teams of character overcome adversity. The Colts? I wouldn't be surprised to see their funk affect em, although KC next week is not exactly a goliath of an opponent.

Ugoh is meaningless..he either carries out his assigments or he doesn't ...the Ptas have prove they can penetrate an o Line by attacking proper gaps... Colvin doesnt do that...Colvin's only job is rush the edge and use his speed...no O line is going to carry that responsiblity. Seymour DEMANDS a double team...the Colts did and Tony told righard that...the Pats rushed Manning from the edge becaus ethey couldn't use a lineman to attempt to stop it..That's why Richard Seynour is known anomg NFL players the man. Wilfork was neutralized they attacked him well...but watch the tapes and look at the stats...SZeua ****ED that strategy up filling the lane the Colts thewy could create. Manning saw nothing from the edge until the second hal...why...becasue Ty warren and Colvin showed soemthin Manning hadn't drrmn in the first ahlf.. Mamming made the correct read a got the ball to where it should be to defeat that stunt except that what was correct was a quick hit to the TE who is always open off the line covered by LB's...oops...not LB...Rodney Harrison...he caugfht two bals he buried the Pats last season in the palyoff in mere seconds...well.that is why the Pats got A.T. but really... Clark can't shake Rodney and Clark has no doubles moves...no it's quick;;; because of the blitz pressure...doesn't work whe the safet is covering the primary...and it sure doesn' work Rodney Harrison..., who's reputa`tion is about being dirty is in coverage, because Rodney can be dirty, but he's also one of the smartest all pro safeties ever. That's what happened to the Colts. If the Pats were a team that cracks and undisciplined they never would have won that game, but the Colts never thought Welker was a factor and Moss was being taken care on go's down the sideline and short outs... Colts up ten, pressure on,Moss beat the Indy db on a straight go...by likes..there all agme..and then pressure on..the Pats need the TD to take the league...Welker beat Sanders like he wasn't ther. Pats set the Colts up..under pressure ..if not for the avalanche of penaties Pats win by 14 to 17 points

I call bull**** on this. The reason the Colts LB was able to trot down the field was because the entire Charger team (besides a couple of guys) shut it down when they heard the whistle. There's no guarantee the Colt could've gotten past his own 30, let alone run down the field like he did.

It wasn't a great call, but it didn't have much to do with the outcome of the game and didn't hurt the Colts much.

As for the Colts in general, if your QB throws 6 INTs, you ain't got nothing to complain about.

Complaining about the false start before the field goal AV shanked. Claimed he never saw that call made before, especially late in a game.

So he doesn't trust his kicker beyond 25 yards?

I would have loved to see the look oh polians face after adam missed that late FG.

I wonder if he pounded the table and screamed "Break his legs!" like he did for Flutie. lol

Look at the penalties. SD ad a lot more penalties than Indy. You may have also missed the non-call on one of the most obvious PIs I've ever seen by Indy. It rivals Hayden on Caldwell last year.

There was some bad officiating in that game, but on the whole (as usual) the calls were biased towards Indy.

Even that phantom spot at the 5 yard line at the end of the game (which would have been an Indy first down) that got reviewed and moved back to the 6.5 yard line looked eerily familiar to the kind of ball placement that benefitted the Colts last week.

Yeah because people who actually think homosexuality is wrong are knuckle-dragging morons who drive people to take their own life.

I'd tell you to get a clue but you wouldn't know what to do with it if you had one.

Let Dungy's son rest in peace.

Nicely said!!!

Whining about the refs after the Dolts/Bolts game. Stay classy, Tony.

(Oh yeah - why the hell are LT, who did next to nothing in this game, and Merriman, who did nothing whatsoever in this game against a 3rd string tackle, getting interviewed after the game, instead of the guys who, you know, actually played well? Namely Sproles and Cromartie. What a joke the media is.)

Shouldn't come as any surprise, it's the organization's M.O.

Can't disagree with 'let Dungy's son rest in peace'. References to the poor boy are uncalled for.

But people who 'actually think homosexuality is wrong', well they may not be knuckle-dragging morons but they still need to explain to many of us exactly why this is the case.

How do you know he would have gotten that far if the whistle hadn't been blown? I'm guessing he might have gotten to the 30 or 40, but I highly doubt he'd have made it inside the 10 if (most of) the Chargers O hadn't stopped playing at the whistle.
