Actually, I believe the playing surface was changed because the NFL complained that it was so bad (due in part to the dual revolution use). The Pats won 3 SB's on the grass surface, they didn't really need to change it (as it was a perceived strength, although maybe not an actual strength)

I mean leaving the field uncovered for big playoff games against a certain team from the midwest.

Sloppy field is a disadvantage for a team that depends on precise route to be ran by the receiver. When running in mud or walking on ice you just can't go full speed you need to keep your center of gravity. Trying running in mud and snow sometimes. When a team is built on speed and beating the man in front on you that's hard to do.

I'm so tired of this argument. They're both great QBs, head and shoulders above the rest of the league, and their respective fan bases will always argue that their guy is better. This debate will never be "resolved"!

When Manning comes outdoors to play and wins on the road in an AFC title game(something Brady has done twice) and leaves his comfortable home dome, than I will give Peyton his due. Until then, this is not even a debate. I can't wait until Nov 4th when Brady goes into the belly of the beast and outplays, outshines, and defeats Manning in his own house. Can't f'n wait.

By judging with a ring count, you are throwing in their team as well. If that's the case Aikman and Bradshaw should be in that group too.

I know how much the ring means, but if you don't have a whole team it doesn't matter how good the QB is.

Mhmm yeah. It's the same stuff. "Until Manning wins a ring then he's not great." He wins one now he must meet other requirements. Manning will never get his due even if he win a SB from today till he retires from Pats fans. Which is sad.

It has a retractable roof and the endzone can be opened too. The damn thing is huge too. They are building right next to the dome and it towers over the dome.

honestly i could care less who is the better QB.... at the end of people's careers they judge people on how many superbowl rings they have. the hall of fame considers this greatly.

I will not be happy as a fan anything short of a superbowl victory. rings are the most important, stats are meaningless. just ask barry bonds.
