I have just reviewed Tedy's book on my website. Feel free to click through and take a look.

Cheers.

Nice job! Thanks.

(Perhaps needs a tiny bit of subbing here and there -- I couldn't make sense of the sentence at the end of paragraph two, for example).

I'm not going to be able to read the book until I get to New England in September but I'm curious to know now: for what does TB criticize the Patriot organization?

I'm trying to figure out what "rude health" is - it must be an English thing ;)

Good review, though.

Thanks Mike, I edited that bit.

Tedy had a bit of a go at them for releasing some news to the media without his approval. And then when they announced he was returning to action they put out a release that effectively parked all the liability at his door.

But by and large the organisation did everything possible to help him. Kraft flew him all over the north east in his private plane for check ups and such.

Hmmmm, sounds like an interesting read. It would be nice to read something that doesn't contain the usual bland cliches....

Good review.. you summed it up nicely.. what I liked about this book, aside from the info on stroke and his recovery, was all the anecdotal stuff about the Pats Players.. in this world of speed and hitting, nice to see the other side of these guys..

Yes. And what was good about it was they are incidental to the story - so you get to see them as real people reacting to real situations rather than as stereotyped locker room guys. I thought the bit about Mike Vrabel was particularly interesting.
