Do the Ravens scare you?

Miami just lost, so no I do not fear the Ravens. I honestly like the way this year is playing out. Year in and year out our defense takes the blame when we get knocked out of the playoffs but usually our offense struggles to break 20 points in those games. 2014 was a weird year honestly. The Ravens easily scored on us and in most years Brady would have fought to come back and come up just short but Brady refused to be denied that year. Back to my point, Gronk's injury is forcing us to compensate and that will only help us in the long run. Our D has no choice but to improve, Brady has to look for Malcolm etc, and we are actually using our running backs. And all of this is happening against teams that match up defensively well against us for the final stretch. We will most likely go into the playoffs battle tested.

The ravens are peaking at the right time. It won't be easy. Offense will have to play alot better than it did today.

Oh yes kill me that the Patriots are facing a team hungry for a playoff appearence, and always has given NE trouble.

Silly me. We'll blow them to smithereens. 56-3

No, you're getting killed because based on your post history, if we were playing the Browns next week, Gronk was healthy and we had just signed the clones of Moss, Dillon, Mankins, Seymour, Bruschi, Vrabel, McGinest and Law in their primes, you'd still find a way to prognosticate doom.

**** the Ravens. Bring them and their Pass Interference bail out calls, and Harbaugh's crybaby face, and their ****ty team on over to get their asses beat.

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for I am the baddest mother****er in the goddamn valley."

The Ravens suck, so as long as we don't, we'll win.
Their defense is one of the toughest in the league, and they're giving up less than 300 total yds per game. It was 281 a game prior to last week, and after holding MIA to single digits, I'm sure they're still right in that range.

I know their records are much different, but I see some parellels between facing a team like the NYJ, who always play us tough, and BAL. It will be a good test, especially with the transition to more 3 WR and 2 RB sets.

They held the Seahawks to 3 and the Jets to 6. So there's that.

And you're surprised? The jets suck and the Hawks offense is literally hit or miss. It's weird.

The BEST NFL defenses are basically Denver and Seattle IMO... nobody else really scares me.

Yes, I get nervous when we play any team in the hunt or equal to or better than us. Advantage the game is home. Weather could be a factor. Our offense has to play better than the past 3 games.

flacco is not an elite QB. he never once was an elite QB.
He's Eli Manning category.

Meaning that every once in a while he shows up and has a game or two where he plays like he's elite. Then he goes and has other games where he looks like one of the worst starting QB's in the NFL.

The ravens defense has been underrated this year. They do a good job stopping the
run. I really hope we open it up a lil next week.

I actually think Flacco's 2012 Super Bowl run might be one of the most efficient, postseason performances ever for an NFL quarterback.

He's like Eli Manning, in that he shows up in big moments and big games

Well I'm not surprised a Patriot homer considers a team who has given up 30+ several times to have a good defense lol

Maybe you should watch more football. They are a defense that is handicapped by the 31st ranked offense. They have had several Int's returned for TD's. In two of the four games where they gave up over 30 the other team scored on Defense and LA's offense fumbled that directly led to a TD.

TB:
Fumble Led to TD
Interception returned for a TD

Buffalo:
3 TO's
Int returned for a TD
Fumble led to a TD

Detroit they had a bad day against a good offense

No's was another bad game. But NO's was obviously trying to embarrass them, Sean was trying to enact revenge on Greg Williams. That game is what is was. Also NO's is first in Total offense and 2nd in scoring, so its not like that offense sucks.

LA is a good defense. But keep on believing what you like.

That entire team will be ready to go and especially the defense. Its just how it is.
Whether we win by 1-4-10+ it will be a very physical, tough fight.

Their line is very physical and will challenge us up the middle. Williams and Jernigan are more than formidable. Doom and Suggs will be a great test.
Mosley is a great young backer. Versatile. Playmaker.

They are a lot more talented than people think.

Even on offense
Tons of speed outside with Wallace, Perriman and Smith.

Again 33-27 or 22-17 this is gunna be a fight for 60.

If the Patriot OL contains the Raven passrush then I'm not concerned. If the Raven DL has their way with our OL then I am greatly concerned.
I'm also scared I'll get a punctured ear drum from the ultra high frequency pitch of Harbaugh's whining. His whining can sometime shatter a wine glass.

Wow, we have all the ****ises in one thread. What a spectacle.

In all fairness the OP was looking for people who were scared about watching a football game, that does tend to bring out those who are scared by their own shadow, which compounds the problem for them as then they have to watch it in the dark, making it all that much SCARIER for them. It's a very scary time to be a Patriot fan.

can you hold me im scared

We do this every time we face him, and he usually ends up lighting us up. Careful now.

Yeah, said the same against Fitzpatrick. Gunslinger type quarterbacks who just go deep repeatedly, regardless of how mediocre they are, seem to be a real Achilles heel for this team for whatever reason.

Having said that, the Ravens aren't good enough to win in Foxboro.
