Malcolm
Ryan
Cyrus
Coleman
JJ

Seems decent. 5 cbs is normal

Sure. But cornerbacks who have the potential to start in the NFL are rare (compared with, say, undersized linebackers) and LeBlanc and Roberts both had their moments. If you think they may be NFL-calibre in a couple of years, it makes sense to try to keep them. Not second-guessing BB, but hmm ...

WR Aaron Dobson
WR DeAndre Carter
CB Cre'Von LeBlanc
LB Kamu Grugier-Hill
LB Kevin Snyder
RB Tyler Gaffney
WR Keshawn Martin
DT Markus Kuhn
DT Woodrow Hamilton
RB Joey Iosefa
OG Jon Halapio

We had a LB called Kevin Snyder?

EDIT, he's from Rutgers. I think they can just register online.

Thanks, but there goes the last CB who even had a hint of size at 6'. It looks like it's going to be Malcolm and the Midgets out there.

"Put us in coach! We're ready to play!"

We have the smallest DB group in the league...

Anyway, I hope they sign Keenan Lewis. Quality veteran CB.

six more cuts?

I think they did want them but in the end felt JJ was most likely to be claimed off waivers and had the most ST value

Packers are cutting Guard Josh Sitton. Hmmmm

Maybe Bill will bring in Mugsy Bogues to shore up the secondary?

If LeBlanc and Roberts have both shown enough to make you think they are potential starting caliber CB's, then there are about 40 other starting caliber CB's on the waiver wire today.

Did they show a little potential? Sure. But it's preseason/training camp. Every team has, and every team cuts, guys who flash a little in camp. Those guys very rarely amount to anything in the league. People often cite the exception, but the reality is the 54th - 65th guys on most summer rosters are all in that same boat and that's literally a few hundred guys each year who get cut but show "something".

As it is, you really need to contribute to ST to make it as a backup DB in New England. LeBlanc and Roberts didn't show much in that area. Jones did, which is why he, for now, seems to be in as the #5

Josh Sitton on the market.

I am still puzzled by these secondary moves. They have no size. Idk.

Snyder, LeBlanc, Hamilton, Martin, Dobson, Gaffney, Grugier-Hill, Carter, Iosefa, Halapio, Roberts, Harper & Kuhn are Pats cuts right now

Oh don't be dramatic. Roberts was 5' 11". Same height as Butler, Coleman and Ryan. 1 inch taller than Cyrus and Jonathan Jones.

EDIT: If they cut both Karras and Barker it should be a good sign
a) Mason or Cooper are returning sooner
b) They have a better RG idea from outside
