The 2016 NFL Mock Draft Thread

pretty good but I don't think you'll see a DB taken by the pats that early.....they already have darryl roberts coming back....see other needs needing to be addressed

Darryl Roberts was a 7th round pick whose NFL career consists of Q1 of preseason game 1. Granted, he looked good to that point (camp and Q1), but if we're not drafting a CB specifically because of Roberts, that'll be extremely risky. If there's a good CB available early and no one else on their draft board is ranked as high, they have to go for it, and if Roberts develops so much the better (at the very least, would provide leverage for Butler and Ryan contract negotiations in 2017).

I approve this message. Outstanding mock. Add the two Navy guys in the seventh and we really are rocking and rolling.

I wouldn't wait until the 6th round to draft an OLman.

In fact, so great is my disgust with this OL that I wouldn't complain if almost half of our picks
were used on OLmen.

Yes i thought of trading up for sprigs or taking shon coleman. I think a lot of line problems are coaching related though.

captain troll strikes again.

Ya let's cut 3/5 of the OL and replace them with rookies that should improve things

Dixon, Howard and Vitale? Would be an incredible influx of talent to our backfield.

Pot Roast changes my mock a little bit.

60 - Kendall Fuller - CB (depending on injury status i would really like to get his player. If not I am also high on Artie Burns who has talent to burn)

61 La'Raven Clark - OT

91 - TRADE for a 4th and 5th

96 - Jaylon Smith - OLB

4th - Charone Peake - WR

5th - Adam Gotsis - DT

After this just take the biggest athletic freaks on the board and hope one of them works out.

2. Trade up for spriggs ot
3s. Jarvis jenkins lb

5. Jason hargrave dt
5. Ngakoue lb maryland
5. Coby core wr miss
5. Kevin Peterson cb osu
6a. Peyton barber rb
6b. Kalan reed cb southern miss
6c. Stephen anderson te cal

They pick up and 4 5s and move up in round 2 for their 2nd, 3rd and a couple 6ths.

Someone will take Smith long before that.

Depends on his medical retest, but I bet they don't if there's any suggestion he won't come back from his injury.

I don't like only having two top 100 picks, but you've got Peterson and Reed so....WINNER!!!

Well Smith would be a big departure for BB as far as body type but right now it appears he is a pick and stash player. And keep in mind there is nothing promised here. He may never be the same when he comes back.

I don't see him being picked much before this point if things stay as they are now.

Zachary Sanchez is a playmaker, but way too undisciplined for a bb defense.

Hmm. DIdn't we try that last year? Well, we did add them to vets Strork and Kline.

Hmm. DIdn't we try that last year? Well, we did add them to vets Strork and Kline.

Well we didn't do anything. The team did and it's pretty obvious they didn't intend on doing that. Seemed like the plan was to go with

Solder-Kline-Stork-Wendell-Vollmer. Which was 4/5 of the SB winning OL.

Stork got injured in camp and put on the short term IR
Wendell had his issue and ended up on IR
Solder got put on IR

and by week 5 it had turned into

Cannon-Kline-Andrews-Mason-Vollmer only 1/5 of the OL that won a SB.

Then Cannon missed a month and it became

Vollmer-Kiline-Andrews-Mason-Fleming 0/5 of the OL that won the SB with Vollmer playing LT.

But hey if you two want to do that again, that's on you. Just don't whine about it if it doesn't work out
