I can see Vernon as they need another pass rusher regardless of what happens with Fowler. I don't really see the need as much for Irvin. That said, bringing Irvin in would give the Jags one of the better LB corps in the league. They need to work on their secondary, which is absolute trash, and OL.

They're in a good position. Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack or Joey Bosa improves their defense too.

I know I was watching that draft eagerly seeing Robinson still on the board and then one pick before the Pats remaining, I was like "OMG it could happen!!", then Jacksonville took him, I was like "F************"..... Then New England drafted a QB with their pick right after and I was like "WTF"

(Granted, I've been happy with the Jimmy G pick since then, but at that time I wasn't quite as happy.)

I just read where the Broncos cut Owen Daniels. I know he's not great against the everyone else, but he sure does kill us every time he plays us. Maybe he is worth taking a look at. If not, hopefully he retires then!!!1

I thought it was OK for players to negotiate and sign with their previous club but cannot sign/negotiate with other clubs?

With that said the Allen deal w/ Indy is OK but the Jackson deal to JAX is a no-no.

Eexxcceeellleennntttt! This was the only part of the Donks winning the SB that I was looking forward to... the complete dismantling of that team via FA... now they don't have Von Miller on his rookie deal anymore for top 10 elite talent..

They're losing a lot of key guys that were huge contributors... and I doubt they'll have the incredibly fortunate luck with injuries the way they did last year...

Yeah watch a team like the Raiders get hit hard while everyone else like the Jets and Dolphins pretend they didn't do anything. If Jets had been treated like the Pats or Saints they would have definitely lost one first round pick if not two already.

I like Malik Jackson, but that is just stupid money. It is Jacksonville being Jacksonville.

We can say goodbye to Chandler Jones. If Jackson can make $15 million a year, then Jones is going to get $20 million. I know they play different positions, but Jackson has 14 career sacks and Jones had 12.5 this year alone.

I don't. They built up a huge roster knowing that they had a small window and I really don't respect that approach and, unfortunately, it worked. They had no business being champs but they are and it validated every big-name signing by Elway.

Though, on the flip side, I'd love to pick up Owen Daniels.

Yea it was an anomaly how few injuries the Broncos had last year. .. they played it incredibly risky by stacking the deck with an expensive, top heavy team with little to no depth and they pulled a golden horseshoe out of their ass and avoided serious injury all year long, all the way to a SB... that almost never happens
