Could you imagine just for a second if he can be turned into a quater of the player Julio is.

Is it possible Damaris Johnson was only on the roster because of the Eagles and Texans games that he had intimate knowledge of both offenses.
Or maybe it was just a numbers game and they liked Hankerson better.

I never though Jules hands were great but he makes up for it with a lot of things. Plus unlike his predecessor who had great hands until the moment was big, Jules hands get better the bigger the play.

Funny thing is the guy with maybe the best hands- Gronk (though a case could be made for Amendola), wasn't drafted with hands in mind. BB said somewhere it was a pleasant surprise when he came to camp and they were like whoa- this guy can catch.

I don't think BB puts much stock in hands. Chad Jackson had great hands, probably works the register at Walmart like nobody's bidness. We have Chandler who has always had stone hands also.

Hankerson is going to have an actual QB throwing him the ball this time around, so I wouldn't be suprised if he looks diff/better than in all his previous years in the league

also, for people looking for a fast, big, outside WR, this is the prototype really, i wouldn't peg him out just yet

really though, at Miami Hankerson made spectacular catches, and his QB level of play has prob gone downhill every year since graduating college

The chances of Hankerson succeeding in this offense this late in the season is pretty much the same as me driving my car from Boston to LA with four flat tires.

Well that means it's impossible, which it is not. It's highly unlikely, but Keshawn Martin, Jabar Gaffney and Austin Collie are examples of guys who contributed relatively quickly. Yes, Martin came from a similar offense, and Collie essentially lived at the facility. But HankTime is a more physically gifted player.

I was hoping for this when I saw he was released, but didn't expect it. Here is to hoping he finds success.

BB must be taking advice from the posters here.

I actually have a "bat phone" type of rig that rings directly to the house.

Unfortunately, Linda answers every time I call, and I predictably cry out "put your daughters on the phone" before she sighs and hangs up.

Is Hankerson this years Tiquan Underwood???

That "on again"/"off again" feeling is starting to emerge.. again.

I always liked Hankerson coming out of college. Hope he can put together a decent little stretch.

I can't wait for the game day thread when Hankerson drops his first pass....thinking of what the nicknames will be, stone hands is already taken btw :)

What about the tackle they got, 30 games experience, I know nothing about this guy but 30 NFL games under his belt is a valuable experience, more than Fleming for example and the rookies of course. Seems like the musical chairs will continue but any help is welcomed.

it's good to actually have an OT on the bench.......beats putting stork out there

LOL... was just thinking the same thing... "Clankerson" is good...

I was also imagining "Shankerson..." Tankerson"... or combining the two and get "Schtankerson"!

Big body receiver who works the underneath routes really well. Good move IMO.
