We're on to the Giants

So are we " on to" the Giants, or "onto" the Giants?

If we are "onto" the Giants we can put an end to whatever crap they are pulling in our Superbowls.

Can you explain this one for me? I'm sposed to be able to rite gud for my job and this one was always confusing.

People so snakebitten by the Giants....Yes, they beat us in the Super Bowl twice, both crushing losses, but they both were by a total of 7 points....It's not like they destroyed us.

In 2007, they were tough no doubt. In 2011 they arguably had a better team, they just under achieved in a tougher NFC. But this year it's not even close.

They just lost their best DT, got one of the worst secondaries in the NFL and their O-Line is mediocre at best.

This game will be a blowout.

I hope your right but that offense can put up points. They fighting for the division. They will want to knock us from the unbeatens.

I was having fun with the thread title.

Looks like it has been corrected now.

My issue for the Giants is: how are they going to rush Brady for one. Just lost Hankins, their best DT for the year, and even if JPP resurges, it'd be nothing we haven't already dealt with this year.

I really don't see a whole lot of special things from any of their defense that would give Brady any major issues.

As for their offense, I could see OBJ having a big game, as that dude is tough to cover to say the least. But I don't see them getting into a duel like we saw them get into vs. New Orleans a couple weeks ago.

Overall, sure you feel the paranoia of past Super Bowls with them, but I'm just not seeing it on paper right now at all for them to match up. We will see of course though.

I would have the safety over the top on beckham.

I am less concerned with the Giants than I am with an emotionless, WTF game.

Every NFL team - even the Patriots - has at least one every season.

The Patriots are coming off a tough stretch: at Dallas, at Indy (revenge!), two division games, and then last week's game that they lost Dion Lewis. After this game is Rex and then Peyton.

I understand that Belichick is the master of getting his players to focus on strictly the next game, but even the Pats are susceptible to a letdown or a bad game at some point. Last year it was KC, 2013 at Miami, 2012 vs Arizona, 2011 vs Bills, 2010 vs Cleveland, etc.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about this until the Eagles game on Dec. 6... the week after Denver. I would bet a few bucks Belichick reamed them for a sloppy performance against WAS, so there will be juice for a road game against a team "that has had our number". Then you got Buffalo rolling in, and you know Rexy will say enough stupid things to piss the players off again. Then the Denver game will virtually determine what stadium the AFC will run through in January.

Sure they can when they face a powder-puff defense like New Orleans, San Francisco or Washington. Unfortunately for them, we have one of the top defenses in the league.

Also unfortunate for them, they have the worst ranked defense in the entire league and we have the top ranked offense.

Again, not sure why the doom and gloomers think this game will be so tough just because of past reputations...it's going to be a blowout.

I doubt they pats will play a WTF game but who knows. Its clear Brady has been thinking of the giants too.
On D&C, Tom Brady avoids commenting on Greg Hardy situation: ‘I’m going to stay away from that one’
On the Giants, next Sunday’s opponent: “We’ve already had a hard time beating these guys for one reason or another. So hopefully we can get over our struggles and finally go out and play well and beat them.”

I think the MNF game vs the Bills be an annoying game to watch right before thxgiving with broncos looming.

this game shouldn't be tough. the only thing that makes it seem like a threat is the literal name of the other team. i always would have said that that means absolutely nothing.

then i endured the ravens game last year. ruined it for me. now i actually get nervous about certain teams who i think just are dangerous regardless of personnel. so stupid, but can't help it

still. 38-14 pats

Challenge with teams like giants and ravens compared to say washington etc are these teams are awed by the pats name . Coughlin doesnt worry about stupid things like what the pats might do etc like say tomlin or pagano does. Their attitude is what makes these games vs these teams tough. Most other teams self destruct looking at BB on the sideline.

The giants game plan will be as it always been agains us - keep brady off the field. eli is going to try to implement a lot of long drives. believe me he will see some holes in our defense - the ones that washington let slip away through dropped passes. that is what worries me.

"I can't stand it!"

You can't get away from being the worst defense in the NFL. That's the Giants. The. singular. worst.

They're an average (at best) offense, and the worst defense in the league. Why would that worry you at all?

defensively, they suck. offensively, they can put up points.

Yeah but the 3 teams they scored over 30 points on have about 10 wins between them in 24 games. And two of those teams are 28th and 32nd in points allowed.

I guess the only question is if Brady will dice them up in the air or if they will be subjected to some more Blount force trauma. Honestly if this was any other team we would be looking past it to the buff and Denver games but some people on here are still jittery from 11
