Twins locking down the field could you imagine the vulcan like instincts not to imagine the endorsments theu would rake in.

It's pressure up the gut that worries me, and the Broncos are lethal on the edges and not the interior.

Pats interior has been pretty good this year. Kline and Andrews have been absolute walls so far.

He's going for it and cleveland's dumb. They want more for thomas? Really? Lol.
A first and a what?

The fact that they'd want a first was pretty much a no brainer, considering that he was the #3 overall pick who has never missed a game and gone to 8 straight pro bowls.

I was holding out hope for s second and a player, but it didn't seem to be too realistic I guess.

I agree, and am curious how the line shakes out with Stork and Cannon returning, and Andrews and Stork having played the same position.

This is why cleveland sucks. Haden's stuck with a crappy franchise

On the #Browns: I hear they want more than a 1st for Joe Thomas, wanted a 3rd for Alex Mack, want a 3rd for Mingo. Steep on all accounts.

I'm down for a 4th + Dobson or Tavon for Mingo
Do they want a top 10 pick for Manziel too?

Thomas is 30 years old with substantial money remaining on his contract. We don't need Mack, and Mingo would have trouble getting on the field here.

I hope this Team have no intensions of playing Marcus Cannon at LT he would get Brady killed put him on the Stong side with TE help. When Cannon play RT after Volllmer we nt couple years ago he play well. Right now Vollmer is our best bet at LT against the likes of D. Ware - V.Miller and others.

A first is too much. A first gets you a player who you want to be a big time player for you for a handful of years. Trading that for a 32(?) year old LT is too much, regardless of his track record.

BB knows what this team needs just as much as we do.

I think he does make a move at either CB or OT or both and it wil be a guy no one here saw coming.

We will all way "meh, it's okay i guess" and will turn out to be a solid depth move that while not a super star helps the team.

We're going to trade for a Running Back and this board is going to implode.

We should have a trade prediction thread. If we did I say we mankins back.

The Vernon Davis deal seems to indicate that teams have wildly different valuations of assets like compensatory picks. If I'm reading the rules right, if Davis, who's in the last year of his contract, signs elsewhere for a decent deal then the team that loses him will get a comp pick. So any trade that includes him should require that the team that acquires him beat that comp pick for value.

San Francisco got two sixth round picks for Davis and a seventh round pick, but they also lost and the Broncos gained whatever comp pick a team gets for letting Davis sign elsewhere. If it's even a 6th round comp pick, the deal then becomes San Francisco getting two 6th round picks but losing one to net one and Broncos getting Davis for one season, and a 6th and 7th round pick. A total win for the Broncos. The Niners should have asked for more or included a conditional pick that kicks in if the Broncos get a comp.

I really think that Belichick could coach Jason McCourty up to be an all pro level CB. He is an absolute monster athletically, a terrific tackler, and would pair well with Butler and Ryan.

According to ESPN Cleveland, the Broncos have offered a first round pick for Joe Thomas and the Browns have said no because they want more. If true, no way the Pats jump in.

Report: Broncos offered Browns a first-round pick for Joe Thomas

get the **** out.

hold on cleveland, dont trade thomas to the donkey's lol
how can they afford all of this?? cheating the cap again? big contracts for clady, vasquez, peyton, demaryius, vernon, harris jr, and talib???

Bro you talkin' crazy.

1) We don't build a team solely to beat one other team (Denver)
2) The strong side changes from play to play so you can't say "Put Cannon on the strong side"
