Pats 34, Colts 27 - 5-0 Week 6 Post-Game Thread

Dungy forced to admit that the Pats pretty much dominated the game and the Colts are nowhere closer to beating the Patriots. Costas tried to use the "with a few plays here or there and the Colts might have won" but Dungy had none of it.

The thing is, I thought the Patriots played a reasonably poor game and still dominated the Colts. 34 points when not playing well and your D carrying 14 points conceded for much of the game (until they go into that stupid prevent crap) shows just how good this team is.

Happy with the win (I never thought it would be a blowout).

Not liking the injuries.

Not thrilled with the defense.

Very unhappy with the offense pulling its head into its shell and going super conservative for way too much of the fourth quarter.

Back to back road games. Just be happy with the win and don't read too much into it. Pray that no injuries are serious.

The DL held the Colts to 14 points until that garbage time TD which, in my opinion, was made possible by a prevent (winning) defense with a three man rush.

Chandler Jones had 2 1/2 sacks and I think Easley had 2 and a bunch of pressures and they rushed only three a bunch of times. The DL was outstanding in the second half, but admittedly could have been better in the first half.

I dont think the Pats org was nearly as angry at the colts as we fans were. I think there were intentional reasons for the ultra conservative fourth quarter. Now if it were the ravens....i think theyd have been chucking it a bit.

IDK, the Pats will try to take away Ivory and force Fitzpatrick to throw. Today they tried to shut down Luck and force Gore to run.

14 non garbage time points while missing your #2 CB, your starting middle LB, 2 of your top 3 tackles, losing Sheard in the 2d half, JE hobbled. I'll take it.

6. Overall, not a well-rounded and great game by the Pats, but the Colts gave them everything they got.
