I wonder if Judge Berman will request all underlying evidence and exhibits that led to Wells report. Seems this judge would make all public.

I wonder if Berman will hear arguments to sort out NFL-Wells privilege issue? The facts are out there.

Here is the thing: the NFL is doing what it accused Brady of doing: getting in way of the facts.

Sally, STOP!

I already love you, you don't need to keep trying to prove it over and over again.

:p

If Paul Tagliabue was still Commissioner, Spygate and Deflategate would never have happened. He'd have sent a direct warning to the Patriots first.

I believe Tagliabue has stated very firmly that catching one team and making an example of them to the rest of the League is NOT how to go about enforcing the integrity of the game.

Just imagine. No Spygate. No Deflategate.
In a GQ article, Tags admitted that if he was still commish that the NFL would not be making the kind of money it would be under Goody. However, he did feel strongly that there is an economic cost of goodwill and peace that some don't value.

BREAKING: Gerry Thornton has divorced his wife for just the hope of having Sally Jenkins shake his hand and give him a kiss on the cheek.

In my 1st acts as Interim NFL Commissioner, I pledge to:

Restore the 2016 & 17 draft picks taken from the NE Patriots.
Issue a statement that there was no human caused deflation & that Brady is innocent.
Apologize to the NEP.
Keep the fine $ since Kraft agreed to it.

Penalize the Colts a 2nd round pick for causing this mess. Pick assigned to the NEP.
Penalize the Jets their 1st round pick for tampering with Revis.
Have the Jets & Pats swap 3rd round picks as compensation.

Revisit 2008, and award the NEP an extra 1st round pick in 2016 as compensation.

Who is with me as Interim Commish?

So you're just going to let the Ravens skate?

Just imagine. No Spygate. No Deflategate.

Wait...do you mean to say the Pats didn't cheat to win four Super Bowls? How could they have been so successful without a guy filming cheerleaders and a 0.3 psi advantage??? I call BS.

I think if the court next week holds goodell in contempt in the ray rice case, it will be the official downfall for goodell

Matt Chatham ‏@chatham58 9m9 minutes ago
NOT BREAKING: Judge Jones just cited Goodell 4 misrepresenting Ray Rice's testimony. U can't be surprised that Uncle Roger did same 2 Brady.

Any links to what Chatham is referring to?

NFL hands over their emails? That would be like my wife buying me a Bugatti Veyron for Christmas type of excitement.

The Pats releasing the emails started it.

Mort bailing, then muttering, then deleting the tweet.

The release of the appeal transcript.

From a PR standpoint, the NFL has NEVER endured such a massive PR hit. Never.

Yeah, but this is small potatoes as far as subject matter goes. Imagine the implications for the NFL if a judge hadn't approved the concussion settlement in April, and the league office's insincerity and willingness to lie to lie to manipulate public opinion and protect their private interests was widely known while that settlement was under review. They would be looking at another zero on the dollar value. As it is, this liekly gets tied back to the Ray Rice fiasco and Goodell gets sent packing before he bungles another similarly weighty issue.

That would be a great feeling until you find out she had to take out 10 mortgages on the house to afford it.

I was just looking at this issue but you are 100% correct.

I just hope that some of this is getting heard inside the walls of the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse at 500 Pearl Street in lower Manhattan, specifically in Courtroom 17B (United States District Judge Berman) and Courtroom 18D (United States Magistrate Judge Francis).

He's also, on television, admitted he was entirely wrong and was taken in by the NFL ********. I'm not sure you can do much more than that.

I never saw that. Would be interest to view it.

That was ...last night? Either last night or the night before. He did Early Edition in place of Tanguay and that's what he opened with.
