Silver on the Pats @ CNNSI -- who's the source?

Doesn't it say Willie McGinest?

It's a good question. Obviously not McGinest but someone who's bitter at not being here anymore.

I don't think it was Cox. Not with his history. And he has a good history with BB.

My guess is actually a former player turned coach who, I think, is now unemployed. And that would be Sam Gash. He is the guy who, was still bitter about how he was treated in 1996.

EDIT: After reading the end, I don't think it was Gash... It was probably Ty Poole or Ty Law or David Patten. I think that Andruzzi has too much class to make such statements. Law and Patten were here for all 3 SBs. It could have also been Ted Johnson. Another player around for all 3.

The source says, "When we we're winning championships..."

If taken literally, it could only be Willie, Branch, Givens, Smith or Chatham.

The irony is that the media created this image and the media is mad that the the Patriots are perceived this way.

In the end they will be judged by wins and losses. Everybody loves a winner and doesn't like a loser.

If Randy produces he'll be loved, but in the end who cares if the Pats are perceived to be on a high morale ground. In the end they will be judged by if they won the superbowl or not. This is not the first team to have a prior malcontent on the team.

It didn't specifically say this but it read to me like the player was with NE for at least one SB and when Brady was there so I don't think it's Gash.

so you guys are cool if I go ahead and put more stock in what Willie McGinest says over "former Patriots player"?

Who cares what this joker has to say. I noticed that he didn't leave an email address so we "koolaid drinking" blind Patriots fans can send him an email and tell him about himself. Whoever that ex Patriot is, he's a coward. Step up! You want to run your mouth and talk smack STEP UP AND IDENTIFY YOURSELF. Sighs when does training camp start?

Abdruzzi or Woody would qualify too.

It's quite evident that you will have guys on both sides of the fence. When you sit back and think about it, it would be the equivalent of the Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls signing Charles Barkley along with 3 or more of the top free agents out there that season. Tom Brady finally has been given the weaponary for a fair fight sort to speak and most realize how fair it really isn't. The NFL world and others would happy to see Tom Brady throw to Caldwell and Gaffney all over again and to them that would be considered balance in the NFL. Tom Brady and the Patriots along with all the ammo they picked up this season damn near makes it unfair for the rest of the league and anyone who isn't a Patriots fan doesn't like it.

Hey remember all these media pundits have hometowns and teams that they root for. These offseason moves nearly guarantee that their teams have NO SHOT to with a damn thing against Belichick's squad. Would you be happy if it was you on the other side of the fence? Yeah, I think not................

and that's if that source EXISTS at all. Don't believe everything you read. And if it is a legit source, so what? The transaction is complete and they can't do anything about it.

Lawyer Milloy was the most pissed off player ever to get cut by the Patriots. I'd say him or Andruzzi is yappin if it were true.

What about Ted Johnson.

and you gotta love when the media turns on one of their own creations.

I don't remember the Patriots putting out any press releases about how much classier they were than the other teams.

Andruzzi, I agree. Woody, I don't because he wasn't here for the last one. And I think it was someone there for all 3.

Bet money it was Lawyer Milloy....

He is a whiny little biatch.
