Now, Brady is far more professional than I am, but if my boss, who I made untold cajillion $$ for, while I gave hometown discount after hometown discount for my part, didn't STRONGLY come out to my defense...................... I wouldn't play another DOWN for him.

.... and none of you should fools yourselves. Brady would be scooped up by just about ANY team out there if he hit the "market", and would probably ink one of the richest 1-2 year deals in the history of the sport.

Kraft is a big wheel in the NFL conglomeration. He may be willing to take a hit on his own team to improve the league as a whole. A multi--billionaire operates in a different stratosphere than mere Patriots fans or even a multi-millionaire player. In a way the success of the Patriots team negatively impacts what Kraft is doing. He has 4 super bowls, a sold out stadium and is looking at the bigger picture.

Krafty Bob reminds me of Hyram Roth in the Godfather.

Hyman Roth (Bob Kraft) asked about the hit on Frank Pentangeli (Tom Brady), to which Roth replies

"He's small potatoes."

Whats a bigger picture than the GOAT who has made Kraft billions being railroaded by the man Kraft continues to support unequivocally?

I'll be clearer than my last post: this is not a time for Kraft to be shy.

Just saying I'm glad that's his general disposition.

In fact, it would make everyone take notice even more.

It's very nice that you feel this way but that's not what Brady needs right now. It may be what you need, but you're not part of this. Brady needs to get this thing going. Get the punishment, decide what to do, move on.

Thanks for telling me what Brady needs.

Brady is getting killed in the media, at the water cooler and across America.
The owner of his team is asleep at the wheel.

Let's try something else.
What would be hurt by Robert Kraft getting his face in front of everyone who will listen and telling his side of the story, including ripping the wells report to shreds?
You can't possibly think that would have no value to Brady. Please explain why it would be harmful.

The day Brady sits a game, the Wells report goes down in history as a complete, accurate and proof Brady is a liar and a cheater.

well.....if he doesn't have a choice, he can't just walk out there.......when someone gets railroaded, they don't necessarily have a chance to defend their innocence

Kraft will remain silent because he doesn't have an appeal process for himself or the team. Belichick will remain silent or punish Brady. The NFLPA will appeal and that will be in front of an arbitrator appointed by Goodell. If the appeal is lost then it will be up to Brady to file a law suit and probably retire, public opinion will kill him at that point.

Brady was misguided or just stupid handling Deflategate.

I'm responding to you saying his legacy is in tact because everyone knows the Wells report is bs. Thats not the case.
People all over the internet, radio, and TV are convinced that Brady directed Abbott and Costello to deflate the balls.

even in the court of public opinion, you have to roll up your sleeves once in a while........they're all big boys, but the concept of loyalty is dying, and that's too bad

Kraft will remain silent because he is a ****y.
BB spoke and showed why nothing untoward happened, and will surely speak again.

Brady was misguided or stupid how? Because he didn't violate his unions rights?

yeah.......but those same people don't care ... the haters will be hating regardless......some of them want a 1 year suspension and loss of the next 2 1st round picks

some people aren't interested in fairness.....they just want the pats to go down

My point is that given those circumstances, Kraft's silence and lack of screaming at the top of his lungs about Brady's innocence makes it look like Kraft thinks Brady is guilty too.

Kraft owes Brady that.

Owners have never had any sense of loyalty to employees.

Frankly if there were only one employee who deserved it, this would be the one.

Ahh, you're the one deciding what Brady needs. I don't think Brady needs anything but to get this resolved one way or the other.

Well that is an odd response, since you were the one who claimed to know what Brady needs, not me.
Interesting though that you choose to not answer the direct question.

You think its good for Brady to have it resolved, one way or the other? So if he is suspended for the 2015 season, he should be happy its over, go home and see you in a year?

No, this whole thread is based on the premise that you all know that Brady needs Kraft to do something. Says who? He doesn't need anything but the ruling, and then he can move on from there.

You seem to be relying on the word need. Truly all he needs is food and water.
The reality is that FOR THE BEST AND CORRECT OUTCOME support from Robert Kraft would go a long way in Brady's favor.
On top of that it is the right thing to do, and Kraft hanging Brady out to dry is a scumbag move.

What the hell makes you think that Karft would make a difference? This is all up to Brady. Brady gets the ruling, Brady appeals it.

I have explained it over and over. If you had answered the direct question, you wouldn't have to ask this one.
Clearly you just want to argue. I will move on and have discussions with people who are serious.

Why is this even a question? Because Kraft feigned magnanimity about a decision he has no recourse for anyway? Why do fans have such a hard to understanding what Bob was really doing there?
