I have a jihad it just isn't against Amendola it's against posters like you who are irrational and base their opinions on emotion and then take shots at other posters if they don't agree. Truth is Ivan if you act like you act on this board in real life you probably would have lived past high school. Let me tell you something for fact if you and I were standing face to face and I told you not to talk to me I can all but guarantee that you'd make sure you listened. So put your little underdog loving little slot WR obsessed tail between your legs and go back to looking at Internet porn.

On that note I'm done talking about Amendola for good because I realized only the posters I don't want to engage with talk about Amendola. I will come back and post smiley faces in a few days when Belichick cuts his sorry ass and listen to you cry like you did when Welker got the boot.
How about a bit of respect for a damn important and productive playoff member AND Super Bowl TD scoring Patriots champion?

I get you're not a fan but c'mon man...

It would be nice if we could cut loose for once and let Brady throw to a guy downfield that knows how to get separation.

P.S. Don't for one minute think i would even try and disrespect guys like that. Edelman might just be my favourite player.
What makes you think Brady could hit him consistently deep? And I ask that as a guy who thinks TB is the best ever.

Has said it for like a year now

Yep, actually more than a year. Then he makes believe people here are raving about how great Amendola is and reposts the exact same rants over and over and over, and when he is challenged to,produce the posts raving about Amendola he refuses to and goes into incoherent rants about how brilliant he is and how stupid we are. He's awesome, and we don't even have to ask him to tell us how awesome he is he just goes right ahead and tells us.

It saves $4.5M this year if you do it with a 6/1 designation.

It saves 4.5 this year by pushing 2.4 into next year as dead money. the total savings for cutting Amendola now or June 1 is 2.1 million. The only question is whether you eat the cap hit this year or spread it into next year.

He has been told this 100 times. He does not want to accept it.

The Chargers have Woodhead on a good deal and Matthews is a free agent, no way they deal Woodhead.

Woodhead is a free agent

Woodhead is a free agent

I thought he had another year. In that case they will be taking a look at bringing him back imo. Love the guy, it would be great to get him back.

I'm almost positive he got an extension at the end of last season.
EDIT:He got a 3 year extension last summer according to rotoworld.

Would love woody back, but I did think he got an extension like aus said

I don't care that he had 48 yards in the super bowl I'm not going to adjust my entire view on him over it. That's an emotional outlook. Do you think we win the Super Bowl without Wilfork helping limit Lynch or Forsett? Would you pay Malcolm Butler $4.5M in new cap money next season?

I respect Amendola's performance and appreciate it but he was compensated grossly for that and overall his performance during his tenure was a failure. Do you view Percy Harvin's tenure in Seattle a success that merits respect?

For the record the guy had like 3 yards in the AFCCG so the playoffs were inline with his M/O the occasional good game and other than that mediocre performances at best. Don't get carried away a trained monkey could have caught the 51 yard Edelman pass so we are talking about a WR who had 78 yards in 3 playoff games.

The $2.4M will hit the 2016 cap as dead money unless you pay him $5.5M for 2016. It is a difference of $4.5M in cap money if you cut him no matter how you slice it.

Miguel's page isn't that hard to read.
You are looking at based on 1 year not the overall picture. Why don't you read into it some more if you think it's so easy because there is more to it than the "cap savings in 2015".

You also don't need an economics degree to know the worst thing to do in a business is throw more money at a poor investment in the hope of recouping something. That is the way the Oakland Raiders manage their cap.

It's got nothing to do with what I think of Amendola and all to do with the fact that you're being a disrespectful jerk to someone who played a major part in bringing #4 home. He also caught a TD in the SB.

For the record, I believe Amendola is replaceable and have voiced that opinion on multiple occasions. His production has not matched his contract but he did make a significant contribution in January and February. I would attempt to rework his contract and upgrade the position but that doesn't mean it gives anyone the right, especially you, to say he's a sorry ass.

The joke's on us Brady6. Amendola is making a pretty penny and has a Super Bowl ring. Meanwhile, we're at home or in the office talking about. I know which situation I would rather be in.

Again? Who lusts for this guy anywhere near what he is making? He made some plays that really helped out the team. Big phucking whoop.

WTF? This is like Ground Hog Day
Bro why would you spend so much time defending someone you don't love or lust for? I mean you have quoted 558 of my posts on subject of Amendola in the past 18 or so months. Outside of Amendola I barely see you post anything so how can you sit here and suggest you don't have a hard on for the guy?

He made 2 plays that was above beyond something 95% of WR would make in the NFL and that was the first touchdown in the Ravens game and 1 first down catch in the SB. Don't make him sound like a savior. When the patriots gave him that contract they expect him to do a lot more than he did in any of those games.

Disrespectful jerk to a person? Is Amendola in this thread? I'm giving my opinion of his performance on the field, he is mediocre on the field, that is what it is. I have said plenty of times he seems like a nice guy, a hard worker and a good teammate, I have never said a negative thing about him as a person. So nobody is being a jerk, his performance merits everything I have said so don't try and make this something it is not. This is about football, he is a #4 or #5 WR on any team in the NFL that is decent and he is being paid in the top 25 of all WRs it makes no sense and that is what it is.

I've already quoted you saying something negative about Amendola as a person. In fact, I put it in bold. You can try the run around with other people but I see you for what you are Brady6.

Amendola's production has not lived up to expectation and he's being grossly overpaid for that. Unsurprisingly, you're not willing to acknowledge his importance in the Super Bowl run.

Don't bother replying. I won't respond.

LMFAO

Who here wants to bet that Brady 6 will never understand the irony of that post?
