We're on to Baltimore

Two not so great teams played last night...lots of flaws in both, I get the worry over the Pats O line but this team is the best it has been in 10 years, very good in all three phases. I'm normally worried more than most but for some reason I'm just not about this one. We have a complete team in the Pats, they. "Should" win without much worry but hey if they don't then so be it, I just don't think the ravens are going to be able to get it done.

Pittsburgh is a frightful scare for the Pats?
The reality is that the chicken littles would have been scared no matter which team we got matched up with. They had to win a game in order to advance, so naturally they will look better than the alternative. It's just knee-jerk morons basically.

Ravens fans think we're afraid, as well as some in this forum, can't wait.

I don't get this fear business,if you're afraid of a team then don't be in playoffs.

Because they are old and looked better than they are against a one dimensional teem with a dumb QB. Patriots are multidimensional with probably the smartest QB in the NFL

Deus you serious yourself? Or just scared.

The fans may be but the Patriots are not. I can almost guarantee that. Not even the rookie Stork, who has to go up against Haloti Ngata...

The idea of panic over the Ravens is foolish, but so is the notion that the Patriots are a complete team.

Whatever you just like to find something to disagree with. Your MO I get it.

I agree

Ngata is good but NE has handled better interior linemen this year.

Feel free to read back through my posts in the thread rather then going with the ad hom.

I agree, we the fans (whoever it is) can be scared all we want. But we're not the ones facing that sack of bird ****. The actual Patriots will. And they're most certainty not afraid. If anything, they're pissed off and can't wait to break the ratbirds' wings. Vengeance is imminent *****es. [emoji35]

I cod argue they will win because I'm going to wear my lucky shirt and that will mean as much as the 2009 and 2012 games.
Understood. I have long ago accepted responsibility for the Pats' loss of the 2008 and 2012 SB's because I did not make my special Braised Lamb dish that I had made for XXXVI, XXXVIII and XXXIX. It's all on me. I should be banned from the Board!

Afraid of what? Throw it up Joe?

It's weird how the uniform can color your ability to see clearly. Admitted I was one of the Baltimore "chicken littles" (OK, not that bad, but a lesser degree--chicken concerners, maybe?) I just have too many memories of previous games against them. That's was all I went on, though. If you step back, though, you'll remember that Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are gone and not walking through that door. John Harbaugh's already gotten them off on the wrong foot by pumping up Flacco more than he should, so maybe he'll go into the game with an inflated head. Fine by me!! I really want to blow them out this time because I hate those guy, but once again I'll settle for a win, even if it is yet another ugly one that takes five years off my life.

And go Colts next week as well!

I think the Colts win next week.

Anyone who makes braised lamb deserves a HoF patsfans.com nomination.

How do you prepare it? Caramelized onions & shallots? Red wine?
