He's a sensationalist. He only provides one view point. This article is idiotic just like predicting the Broncos as a 10 win team last season was idiotic.Im not a fan of his and I know folks wont like the suck up article but most of what is said is entirely true. It was only to point out what should be obvious, they are a much better team than last year. Underestimating that is a mistake as a Fan.
Who said anything about underestimating the Broncos? I think they're a good team playing good football. What I don't think they are is considerably better than any Manning's teams the Patriots have whooped in the past. It may be the best D he's had but Brady's beaten better.Im not a fan of his and I know folks wont like the suck up article but most of what is said is entirely true. I've been impressed by the Broncos but I'm expecting a Patriots win.
would love for someone to tell me why im wrong based on the current season, some facts and not speculation. Not historical records or last years game
OK so Im not trying to bait anyone, im just trying to see if anyone can explain to me why I would "expect" the Pats to win against what is clearly a better team right now. I would love to be able to share some of that with the Broncos fans in my office. But just saying the Broncos are not better is pretty silly and last years games and past stats dont prove anything this year so it really doesn't hold up.
I think the Pats look pretty good, but not as good as Denver right now. Yes thats why they play the game I get it.
Interesting article, not sure there is much I disagree with.

- Rob Gronkowski, outside of a quadruple team, cannot be covered. Denver doesn't have an answer to Gronk.
- The Patriots OL is trending upward. Win the trenches, win the game.
- Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, historically destroy Jack del Rio coached D's. Given the integration of Wright and LaFell, I expect the Patriots to put up enough points to win by attacking Denver's weak points on D.
- The Patriots Secondary matches up well with Denver's skill position players.
- The game is being played in Foxboro.
There's only three other players (outside of QB's) in the NFL who can wreck a game on their own: Megatron, All Day and J.J. Watt. One could argue that a fully fit Gronkowski is the biggest difference maker of them all.I think, because of gronks presence, he can essentially shift a 50/50 game to an almost sure win game. When the dude is healthy, he is just menace for a defense
Couple things. What are Denver's week points on Defense, for me it would be the LB's only.
Second, I think the OL will struggle, but humor me, if they do then what happens when Brady doesn't have 4+ seconds in the pocket?
Third Hillman is super fast, our D cant tackle guys until after the line of scrimmage right (even Tedy mentioned that) so how does that factor, you bring up a safety and then...
I just wasted my time reading this article. Based on its content Denver should stay home and the Pats should get a day off. No sense playing this game Denver has it in the bag! OH I forget there is BB and TB, game on!!!!
