I think it's more because the cap hit would be pretty bad, but if you want to think everything is a personal decision then go right ahead.

Amendola's cap hit isn't nearly as painful as watching him trot out on the field every week

I think it's just temporary shuffling of the roster and hopefully KT will be back. But there were several players on the roster I would have preferred to have been temporarily "shuffled" to get Davis on the roster. Less WRs on the roster is something we definitely DON'T need.

But once Tyms is totally good to go both Dobson and KT (if he comes back) better practice their butts off and be on their best behavior. Or one or both of them they could easily find themselves cut for good. I'll be so glad once it makes financial sense to can Amendola.

LOL! Mike Reiss said it is a move because of Nate Ebner. Davis will likely replace him on special teams. It has little to nothing to do with Collins.

Thompkins was the team's WR5. He has 38 catches, supposedly on 80 targets, in his NFL career. Let's not pretend they just cut Jerry Rice in his prime.
