So going with 2 WR (Amendola is F***ing useless right now) again? Because if Dobson wasn't deemed ready by the coaching staff to play Monday I don't really think 3-4 days is going to change that.

I'm also suspiciously wondering that had that stuff not happened this week if this would be Dobson getting cut instead of Thompkins.

No way is Dobson getting cut at this point whether the SMY story came out or not. Dobson has a much higher ceiling than Thompkins. He is working his way back from injury and a lack of a preseason

Amendola isn't going anywhere. BB can't admit that he screwed up.

While I agree that BB's ego occasionally seems to cause problems, I think that's mostly with draft picks being kept too long and contract battle 'losses' not being forgiven. Amendola getting cut, if this is his new 100%, is absolutely a viable option IMO, because Belichick can fall back on the "Unfortunately, his injuries...." approach.

Torn on this one. On one hand he's not a very good receiver. On the other hand he's better than what we have (Amendola). I will never understand why the WR position seems like quantum physics to the Patriots. It really can't be that hard to find decent receivers.

Also, saw they activated LB Ja Gared Davis and worked out several OLB's. Guessing I'm not the only one that came to the conclusion that Jamie Collins is absolutely horrible.

Who is exaggerating?

According to Reiss he has been inactive because "he isn't getting it done in practice". They didn't practice Tuesday. Which leaves Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for him to prove he can.

The fact that 3 out of the 4 weeks he hasn't been able to get it done in practice to be active on gameday says the odds of him being able to prove it in 3 practices are low.
