How'd Hartline and Clay do lined up across Revis? Oh ya both got shut out going against him.
Wallace beat him pretty consistently, so I don't think it really matters after that....
From Kevin Duffy (now my 3rd example of a reporter) Masslive.com:
"Widely regarded as the league’s best shutdown corner, Revis spent much of the day on Mike Wallace. And the speedster often got the best of him. Wallace finished with seven catches for 81 yards and the touchdown on 11 targets."
Edit: I don't care for the way that Duffy insinuates the 7/11 stat line here (or some may take it that way without reading it clearly), which obviously did not happen. That said, I think his first sentence is very appropriate, and shows that Revis had more than his hands full today against Mike Wallace, who got the best of him several times, with another catch dropped, and another thrown a bit over Wallace's head where he had beaten Revis very clearly.
As a whole, it was more of a mixed bag for #24, but not a bad way to get his feet wet. I definitely still stand firmly by my opinion that he did not have a "pretty good" game by any stretch, but his natural talent allowed him to deflect a pass, and he was in good position on the TD catch as well.
