You should freak out too. You might have to change your avatar.:)

Wow, I didn't even realize this. Yikes. Better go find that pic of Nate Ebner again

It's 4:02 and the Pats have done NOTHING!!!!!

I have never gotten that sense from his posts, I think he's one of the more level headed posters here and his analysis is usually pretty accurate. I do think there is a contingent of fans who are just miserable and or trolls who look for the negative in everything but i think they are obvious and distinct from those who are simply thinking critically. The Patriots are both in good shape overall and in need of a number of things to really improve the team so they can legitimately make a run at the Lombardi next season.they are already a final 4 caliber team but this years Seahawks would have destroyed them in the Super Bowl and they need to build a team this offseason who could deal with them and the other top 5 contenders.

Ken has a history of verbally attacking me if I do anything less than blow the team, coaching, cap management, front office decisions, etc. He didn't read the post, or at least didn't do it with the mindset that I was just pointing things out more than being critical. It's par for the course and the reason why he still hasn't responded to my last reply toward him...

That's not true, they resigned Hooman already. That is the equivalent of signing a TE from another team. A couple more depth signings and this team is good to go!

Thinking about the last major personnel decision of any kind that that board "kept in perspective." Thinking...thinking....

I do a fine job of keeping major personnel decisions in perspective.. tyvm!

I just do a really lousy job of keeping the people that cant "keep major personnel decisions in perspective" in perspective.. :D

Upon reflection you are right, but with an amendment. Kontra is most level headed poster of those who are constantly complaining and 2nd guessing everything the franchise does, and I eagerly away his next post that reflects even a moderately optimistic POV, or is happy with any move the Pats make.

That being said, I think Kontra is an important contributor to the discussion here. I don't always agree with the decisions that are made, and it would be pretty dull if everybody did. Like you said Kontra is probably among the best of those chronic second guessers

Its when I go nuts when BB drafts 2 RB's and a QB over 3 rounds, I eventually come back to earth and realize that BB et al are making decisions with INFINITELY more information than the rest of have, plus a few decades more of general football experience in making those decisions.

That's what aggravates me some times when I read posts from the chronic second guessers, its a combination of either the pure arrogance of their positions or the lack of humbleness in recognition of the knowledge gap that exists between them and us.

I know I should be more tolerant and understanding, and most of the time I am. But I'm human....and old ( ;) ), and sometimes I too show some of those same traits of arrogance and a lack of humbleness in my opinions.

Thats how it is for me.

Its not the act of criticizing Belichick that gets my homer-snark up, it's the insulting "Belichick is stupid" rhetoric/implications that often go with it.

Looking around the forum at how many people want the Pats to push their chips in the middle of the table and go all in, you can tell that we're creeping up on a decade of the last Super Bowl win.
It's not a matter of how much time since the last Super Bowl win. It's a matter of how much time we have left with Tom Brady.

So many people are losing it. Hilarious

Of course I am. Belichick was playing computer games for 4 days
while the other GMs were looking for new players.

Tied up the long snapper too. Sounds kind of kinky when you put it like that.

Speaking of losing it in 2 hours

Did they cut Amendola yet? Remember, they MUST cut Amendola by 4 p.m. If they don't cut Amendola, I will have to buy an Amendola filter at the cost of untold thousands to filter out the avalanche of Amendolas that will surely cascade forth from the obsessed brain pan of a certain Amendola hater.
Amendola has been multipled via the Matrix into ...

Can't stop time, kid.

You may as well cry over a sunset.

BTW, when your parents told you they took Fido to a farm and gave him to a nice family who would take good care of him..........

one person who is losing it is zolak...must be drunk again

What the heck kind of ridiculous reply is this? No one is trying to stop time. We are just saying that now is the time to focus on the next 1-3 years with regards to player acquisition because we should take advantage of the fact that we have the greatest QB in history currently playing for us.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people think Tom Brady is among the greatest ever, yet they also think that when we lose him, we won't skip a beat.

If you have an intelligent rebuttal, I would be happy to hear it. Based on the above, it seems you do not.

Absolutely! I am keeping my perspective conveniently stored right beside my stool and rope!

We all know that the Patriots dont sign FA on day one. They let the market settle then bust a move. Woodyard visiting tomorrow, hopefully we sign him.

Today did not disappoint as far as people and perspective in the same sentence
