Ocho cinco all over again. No thanks
Talk about two COMPLETELY different players and time periods, this comparison couldnt be more off the mark

More likely they'll be praying that Gilbert, Dennard or Fuller fall to them, which is possible.
how do you equate ocho cinco with Hakeem nicks? Nicks is 26. Ocho was 33 when he signed with NE.
Trouble with this is they have had mixed luck drafting cornerbacks.

Nicks already reached his arc. Just like ocho did before he was a Patriot. A 26 yr old who is very injury prone and who will not be what he once was
Age means nothing if you cant stay on the field and be productive.

by your logic we should get rid of talib and gronk because neither of them can stay on the field.
Nicks is a risk, but in an one year prove it deal it might be well worth the risk. If he can rebound (and there is a chance he could), he has elite #1 WR talent.
Gronk is under contract and wouldn't make sense to cut him this year and talib is most likely gone becasue of the fact he has chronic hip problems and will cost them 10 mill a year
I just don't see him rebounding..maybe he will..but i don't see it and would rather spend that $$ elsewhere
so if gronk were not under contract (ie, a free agent), we should make no attempt to re-sign him?
Falcons showing an "extremely high level of interest" in G Jon Asamoah.

Alright, I'm all caught up on the free agent news/rumors…summary--it's good to be a CB or OT.
I don't understand why so many people are ignoring the fact that Nicks gave up on his team. He does all the stuff a lot of people complained about Randy Moss doing, with no where near the talent. He's no iron man either. Lazy and injury prone. Yup, sound great. I'm sure he'll try really hard on a one year deal because of free agency. Just like last season..
