Just when the door was shutting after Gronk injury, Peyton opened it

It would probably be the greatest achievement in history when you consider the LEADERS, VETERANS and PLAYMAKERS they have lost on D too.

I'm not sure about "history," but it would certainly be Bill Belichick's greatest coaching job.

Yep. The question is if it is too much. I don't think it is. I hope Tom and bb just sent a text to all the players, saying buckled down, 1 game at a time. Our seasons success depends on these next 3 games, start rig Sunday. The coaches have to really focus these players. 1 play at a time.

In his post-game press conference Manning said, "We made mistakes in all three phases." Who named him head coach? Unbelievable. Never in a million years would Brady say something like that.

To be fair, what he must have meant by that was

1.) Receivers
2.) Offensive line
3.) Running backs

Peyton wouldn't throw his defense or special teams under the bus, after all. His offense, on the other hand, rarely goes a week without feeling tire tracks. ;)

Brady would have taken responsibility. But yeah, manning is a jack@$$.

Be hard pressed to find a team that went through as much adversity as we have if we pulled it out

Or maybe he meant: management, coaching, fans.

You just opened my eyes.

The patriots should be playing not to face the chiefs.

The chiefs pass rush against the patriots sub-par* pass protection is the one match up that i don't want to happen.

The patriots are being fueled by tom brady never quit attitude. The man should be mvp for keeping this team above 500

This is why i keep saying Rodgers is better than Manning, because he is. Brady and Rodgers have nowhere even close to the cast that Forehead does yet they put up MVP numbers every year.

Always said for a while now that the debate is Brady and Rodgers.

As NE fans, we'd probably all agree, but outside of the fanbase I doubt it'd really be that big of a deal. The general public doesn't even realize that NE is all that beat up, and they hardly feel sorry for us. As long as Brady and BB are there every week, that's all most people really notice.

There would be a ton of arguments for any of the teams that had to win out as WC teams on the road way before anyone would listen to our sob story. That said, they very well may notice that this was Belichick's greatest season of coaching under the circumstances, just due to the WR and TE situations alone.

And until Rodgers gets another SB title or 2 then it will probably be Brady because of that. I still think Tom is the best QB in this league with Rodgers second.

To lose Hernandez to such circumstances was one thing but to be that unlucky and have Gronk literally taken out on the field is crazy. EVEN OUR ROOKIES HAVE BEEN BANGED UP! I mean how much can Tom deal with and still win this much?

Pats are victims of their own sustained success. One or two loss and people wonder if this is the end of the patriots -rinse repeat every year. Its hard to win in this league consistently something both the media and us fans dont appreciate more.

Without a doubt they are the top 2 and the next QB after would be quite a distant 3rd from Rodgers because i think he and Tom are that good and ahead of their class. Eventually as father time gets to Brady in the coming years it will be Rodgers mantle and rightly so.

Lets not disrespect the guy that's about to break brady record

It's not peyton's fault we just entered brady time.

where was that "attitude" when we needed it last year in the AFCCG?

The pats faced a vengeful ravens that were out for blood.......Now the patriots are the hunters again :snob:

It is a miracle. This torn and tattered, bruised and battered team in a position to steal the #1 seed in the AFC.

All I want for Christmas: some frickin' first half points from the offense.... :)
