Manning to haters: "shove that one where the sun don't shine"

okay, then we will revise it.

Manning is good in the cold, when it's a relatively meaningless game ( okay home field is still in play, but), against a non-playoff opponent.

BUT

he still sucks a hind one when it's a big playoff game against a contender in the cold.

:D:D:D

Surprised he even said anything about it seeing is how he had Nantz and Simms scolding everyone during the game that have said he can't play in the cold.

Sorry Peyton, but i never said he couldn't play in the cold, i said he couldn't play in the wind. He's never been great in the cold but he flat out sucks in the wind.

Manning should just be happy his team has avoided a rash of injuries. Julius Thomas looked done for the year and now he's out catching touchdowns again. Must be nice...

I can't wait for this thread to get resurrected in January.

He wants to shove it to Suzhou, China?

Manning has thin skin and an inferiority complex.

I've always thought it was only in-part a cold weather problem. More than anything else, it's a BIG game problem.

His pressure to succeed in the play offs is going to be astronomical this season given the injuries in the AFC and his own teams level of talent. If he loses in the post season this year, it'll be the nail in the coffin for his post season legacy.

Going to be interesting to see how he responds.

I never thought it was a cold weather problem. It's always been a big game problem. The fact that playoff games come at the end of the year in cold weather is just a coincidence.

When it's below 40-35 degrees, Pay-me-a-ton is useless. It was cold in Tenn, but not so cold that he couldnt warm up, I live in NC and 30 degrees down here, doesn't feel like 30 degrees in Foxboro. I went to Patriot Place last year in November, I couldn't stand outside for too long, it was that bad and it was just 30 degrees, it was colder than that during the thankgiving game in NY, but Foxboro still felt colder.
Peyton's cold weather game is worse now because he's unable to warm up those so-called rejuvenated, stem-cell injected nerves, which when frosted causes him to throw those wobbly underthrown passes. It takes him the 1st half of the game to warm em up, you can really see the difference in velocity in his throws in comparison to the 1st half. He failed against NE simply because it was too cold to get those nerves warmed up and the wind didn't help much either.

He's still garbage in cold weather.

Apparently. Peyton's comments highly offend me and I demand an apology. Remember what Goodell said, if one person is offended then we need to take this seriously.

Wonder if Peytie will send a memo to the league after this photo ...

... ran on NFL.com today with the headline "Thriving in the cold." Didn't the league and their website get the message?

Why is Antonio Brown in that photo?

I'm sorry, I must be crazy. I could have sworn that the longest field goal in NFL history was kicked on that same field yesterday, with no wind at the kicker's back.

It sounds like the throwing conditions were absolutely abysmal.

Might have been an attempted play on words, along with its other meanings.

But I don't actually know whether it was a cold-but-sunny day.

That's the thing is Denver even in the cold is great conditions for Manning. No wind. Thin air. His touch passes don't get hung up in the wind.

There isn't a team that needs homefield advantage more than the Broncos. I can't see them going into Baltimore, Cincy, and New England and Manning air the ball out like he did yesterday.

Is anyone forgetting he did this against the Titans?

I love how all the Denver media and fans are claiming that he has put the whole "can't play in the cold" thing behind him.

Wait until January.

Come to Foxboro in AFCCG and then tell us whose shovin what where!

I don't know about Manning in the cold, but evidently Matt Stafford has major problems playing football in the snow.

He had something like 5 fumbled snaps, and a wholly pathetic outing overall. (Those 20 Detroit points were aided a lot by 2 return TDs.)

He's an SEC quarterback that didn't get a whole lot of practice playing in the snow during his college days or in his first few years in the NFL while playing in a dome.
