BTW, the Panthers played well enough to win and they DID win. I'm not disputing that. What I want is the chance...the CHANCE...to go for the win after that CLEAR PENALTY. Now we all heard that old ref Seemans claim the ball was short so no interference. That is not even a QUESTION. Gronk was interfered with BEFORE Brady threw the ball.

No explanation. Flag. Oh wait. Nope...WHY??? no explanation...just no.

The PI on Dobson's defender at the 36 was questionable. Cannon almost ended a guy's season and didn't get a flag. These things happen.

If you lose 'because of the refs' then you didn't do enough to win.

This loss was about our lack of composure and great play from Cam.

We lost because our O-line sucked......we committed dumb penalties which put us out of scoring range (Mankins cost us 3 points minimum)......another Ridley fumble which cost us 3-7 points for sure.....and Talib was awful.

Cam was awesome...simply awesome. Carolina played mistake free football. They deserved the win....we deserved the loss.

Now stop being numbskulls.

Even if the wall wasn't catchable, wouldn't it still be holding? Isn't that an automatic first and down over? I've never been this pissed about a football game.. even in 07.

I'm usually not one to throw a loss on the refs, but they spit on their ****s and ****ed us on that one. I don't deny that Mankins did something stupid. He usually does in chippy games like this. The Ridley fumble was a killer. The Vereen drop was a choke. Even still, that was a ball that Gronk could have played and THEY PICK UP THE FLAG!? You ******* serious!? Scumbag zebras were more concerned with getting out of there alive than protecting the integrity of the game.

And the defense? Good to see the good old Pats defense that you can never count on to close out a close one rear it's ugly head. They bring that JV bull**** against Denver next week and the Broncos will hang 35 on us by halftime.

Ridley needs to go....it should be the last time the bastid KILLS the Pats in a game.....ship him out.

Talib is a Great corner....tonight he got his balls handed to hI'm on a platter....AND WORSE yet.....he KILLED his team with penalties. He was probably a little rusty....he PROBABLY was up for a big payday with the Pats...but tonight he REALLY came back down to earth......

OL....what else can be said except.....FAIL......Solders misfire took ALL the wind out of this teams sails early on....Mankins also continues to be a weak spot....if anyone can name one OLthat is excelling right now I would love to hear it. There is a lot I would love to say about BB and his coachibg staff ...but lets leave that until end of season.

Very disappointing loss today...and unfortuneatly showed WHY this team will go NOWHERE this season....

I've accepted the end result since I believe the league likes to do things this way.

It was PI, but the league likes to manipulate the coin flip situations for what works for ratings. The outcome will not affect ratings for the pats games down the stretch, but it means much for the 2 panther games against the saints. Not to mention that the pats would need an epic collapse to lose the division.

That said, I have to say that the panthers are not for real. The pats offense did what it wanted both running and passing. I like what I am seeing for the stretch run.

The panthers have to look forward to Newton falling flat on their face later in the season when they get swept by the saints and lose out on a tie breaker to the cardinals

riddleys fumble which took 3 points off the board may have cost us the game ultimately. would have been down 1 inside the 20 with 5 seconds to go kick a FG and its GG.

Riddley is a liability.

That is my biggest issue with this, he threw the flag. If he didn't whatever, but to throw the flag and not make the call is what makes it so atrocious.

And that's the damning evidence here. To recall a legitimate flag on a flagrant can only mean it's fixed. You can't explain it any other way because you have to assume there's some sort of mental deficiency involved otherwise and that would have prevented the person and/or persons from ever getting that job.

I just can't fool myself in believing these games are legit anymore. I don't know how anyone that sees that could. I think the only thing that can restore my faith is if it's outed that official had a bet in and did it for himself. Then, at least, I don't have to believe the league was complacent.

But that's just not going to happen, I don't think.

We really needed to speed up the tempo on the drive before the Panthers final TD. Should have caught them off guard with a QB sneak on the 3rd and 1. We get a TD there and who cares about the PI.

I was ok with the loss until that last play. The offense scored consistently against a good defense on the road. I was going to go to bed knowing the Pats played a good game and then this atrocious call happens. What a joke, from a high percentage chance to actually win the game with a Brady dive in the end zone to a Barney Fife idiot picking up his ****ing flag for a flagrant face guarding.

This is Ellis Hobbs redux vs Wayne in the end zone. Of course the Pats were on the wrong side of that call too. You can't win no matter what side your on.

Okay, I can't get to bummed out or my week will suck if I dwell on this to much.

Not sure wtf Talib was doing out there, trying to bite Smith's leg off?

On a positive note the O moved the ball extremely well for the second game in a row and against a top ranked D. Also because the O is healthier we can sprinkle the rookies in as needed and not lean on them to hard. Having good safety valves in Vereen and Amendola for the pass rush is a big + as well.
