MNF: Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos

Manning got Manning faced.:)

Wow. That's borderline Jets Insider derp.

I know right?

A team with an elite defense and average offense could never stop the best offense in the league?

"With Peyton, you'll likely get 3 more years of peak performance, with 1-2 SB appearances in that time frame" Have you seen peyton manning in the playoffs?

I have seen Peyton play in the playoffs, and may I remind you..... there was a team you might be familiar with that was up 21-3 in the 2006 AFC championship game to the Colts but lost 38-34 in the end....the Colts happened to have the biggest comeback in conference championship game history

I said this earlier in the thread, but if you are a Brady vs. Peyton guy, this is not the season for you. Peyton has an embarrassment of riches and is hellbent on destroying all of Brady's 2007 records.

OTOH, remember what happened with the 2007 team starting around week 12 or so?

Peyton manning is such a well oiled machine in the regular season.

To bad

Did the defender just shove the WR out of bounds while he was in the air before the ball got there??

So you figure the Colts will face yet another team with a defense full of players who are sick and/or get injured in the second half, and the referees will once again forget that face guarding is now legal?

Only because of some of the most cr*ptacular calls in playoff history (face guarding, anyone?) AND a flu bug that forced the Pats to play Eric Alexander at ILB on the final go-ahead drive.

So you missed his playoff games in 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012?

That explains a lot. :D

KC has an elite defence?

I think so. Houston, Hali, Poe are all beasts. Berry is finally back 100% and looks like one of the best safeties in the league, while Flowers/Smith are a great CB duo.

That team is being overlooked. They also have a top 5 RB and a great game manager at QB. I like them vs. any AFC team 1 on 1 at the moment.

What does that have to do with the fact peyton is 9-11 in the playoffs and has lost 8 times in the first round?

KC has an elite defence?

Yes. Might only be 2nd to the Seahawks. And they have a very efficient offense paired with it.

OK, that was a nice gimmick from the Raiders.

Maybe the Faiders should try running it up the middle for a change  ...And now they start to rally. a little too late to start getting it together

You mean the Colts are 9-11 in the playoffs and have lost 8 times in the first round.

Football is a team sport, yo.

What are the odds the Raiders pull a Jets on MNF?

Yeah, I thought so....it's late.

All the Chiefs Defense needs to do is slow down the Broncos Offense. If they can do that, control the game clock with their running game and capitalize in key moments then we've seen that's a recipe to slow down these offensive juggernauts.

And ironically, the Broncos have to visit Foxborough in week 12, the same week the 2007 Pats' decline started.
