Brady's Comments on Hernandez Among Other Topics now up on MMQB

Focused on the team, his teammates and his role on the team. As always. About what could be expected.

Loved his comments about his conditioning and diet and hoping to play past 40. I bet he could.

The comments on Peyton Manning were good, just probably wouldn't be my choice to interject him into the piece. #PatsFansColoredGlasses

Which raises the question: If you had a chance to ask Tom Brady 3 questions, what would they be ...?

1. Other than actually taking the field for games, what's the best part of your job, and what's the worst part?
2. Assuming they want to, would you let your sons play football?
3. What advice would you give to quarterbacks in high school or college who hope they can be the next Tom Brady?

Bonus 1: Assuming human cloning and time travel were possible, which would you rather have had at the start of your career: a 2007 Randy Moss clone, or a 2011 GRONK clone?
Bonus 2: How much do you hate the JEST?
Bonus 2: Are you the guy on the standy? :D

1. Would you please describe, in the most graphic terms possible, Gisele's best performance ever? 2. Please see above. 3. Please see above.

That interview sucked.

well...uh...nice tact....

That interview sucked.

Peter King sits down for an interview with possibly the greatest QB in history, asks him only THREE questions, and one of them has to be about Peyton Manning? I'm unimpressed.

It's the kind of thing where you expect the rest of the interview to be behind a pay wall or something.

But nope. That's it apparently. Three questions. Unbelievable.

I'm sure someone, somewhere, has written a "fanfic" story about this. I would Google it myself, but I'm afraid to see the results. :p

brady should have said "the only aaron i'm interested in talking about has the last name of dobson."

Peter King is a joke.

"Tom, it's Pete. yeah, King. Yeah, the writer. No, SI. Remember how every year last couple of years I give that little bike thing of yours a little PR in my column?"

"Mmm ... yeah."

'Well, I've got this web site starting up, and I was thinking ... it would be great if you could, you know, thank me a little by helping me out the first week."

"Ummm ... really? Just before camp? I mean, I'm still on vacation, and Gi ..."

"No, look, it'll be simple. Just three questions."

"Um, well ... OK. That's fair. But look, I don't want to talk about, you know, the Hernandez thing."

"Hey, I'll throw you a couple of soft ones, but I have to ask you that. I mean, it's not like you're really going to say anything."

"Uhhh, well, sure. Yeah, I can work around that."

"And look, I need to work in a little Peyton Manning. My sponsors are worried about my readers in the South and the Heartland and ... well, you know ..."

"Aw, man, come on ..."

"Pleeeeaaaassseee."

"Pfft. Well, OK. But King ..."

"Yeah, sure, anything ..."

"... Back off on Belichick, will ya ..."

"...Uuuuhhhh."

Nothing new here ... these guys look at things differently even under normal circumstances. the only way to survive is to always look forward because you never know who will be there from day to day.

One of my favorite Brady press conference moments came a few years ago, before they played the Bears. A reporter asked him about the offense, along the lines of "you guys are really starting to click and it's all coming together and ..."

Brady paused, took a deep "Give me patience" breath, and said "...the Bears are a great team ..."

Dude is seriously focused. I actually felt bad for how roughshod he must have run his offense the next practice.

I'm a fan of everything Tom Brady but I'm not sure I'd support this notion. There's a time where you simply have to move on and give the next generation their opportunity. That said, it's great Brady still has that drive.

The first question HAD to be asked, the second one was decent question but the answer was eye opening, and the third was an interesting answer to a personal question.

So now we know Tom is open to playing for another team if BB decides it's time for the Mallet Era or Tebow Era to begin in New England. Not gonna lie, it would hurt to see Tom in a different uniform. But if he's still enjoying football by then, more power to him.

Just hope Tommy Boy's bromance with The Forehead doesn't break up his marriage and destabilize him emotionally affecting his game

No big revelation with this interview of his. He's trying to focus on his team and his own life. He doesn't want no undue publicity shining down on him because of his comments about a serious case. Thus, he politely deflects the question. Considering the negative publicity some in the NFL have brought on themselves in regards to the case ie. (Pouncey twins). I don't blame him.
