I'm failing to see Curran's beef here. Seems like he's just picking a topic to crap on and this is the one.

Exactly. HE says he didn't see them "own up to a mistake". So, I guess according to the Almighty Curran, BB and Kraft need to call a press conference apologizing for Aaron Hernandez and begging everyone for forgiveness. Is this guy as dumb as he sounds? They're paying a price here, financially and otherwise. I guess that isn't enough for Curran. He wants to see them humbled and bigtime.

Shutup, Curran.

Says they have to be purchased from the Pro Shop, bought mine on NFL.com. :(

It's really just cool as hell and I figured it was thread-worthy not only for that reason but because so many folks here might want to swap out there Hernandez jersey for another of comparable value.

I suggest Tebow.

Although he's still with us, you are like Keegs incarnate to me. A sharp douche upon first glance, but in reality a good person who just happens to be appropriately hilarious.

Here's what I'm wondering though.....How would they know? I doubt everyone has kept their receipts. Is there some other way to tell?

Can I exchange my Ochocinco jersey? He's an ex-Patriot that went to jail, too.

Something tells Me AHern Jersey worth crazy $$$ on Ebay in time.

Curran's pi$$ed because he's got this XXXX-L Haynesworth jersey they won't exchange.

Tom E C should chime in here. He's a reasonable feller.

Prentice?

Classy move on the Pats' part.
yes and no-a very large part is pr-they don't want a bunch of hernandez jerseys being worn around/in circulation. It will be a huge tax write off for them

Re: Patriots Offering To Exchange Aaron Hernandez Jerseys

That's taking it too far. The guy still could be innocent, despite the mountain of evidence against him. Stranger things have happened. It's one thing to wash your hands of the situation (I'm glad they cut him), but this is just an unnecessary public conviction.

No, it isn't. People may not want to walk around with his jersey or put their kids in it because it looks like you support him. These jerseys cost a lot of money and many will remain stuffed in a drawer or garbage can somewhere. I know my brother has already thrown his out because he is not putting his 4 year old in that and walking around. Give me a break!

If that's true then 94% of my posts should be wiped out.

Yeah, but you're not a sloppy drunk like Curran is.

Here is his hypocrisy in living technicolor (less than one year ago):

Curran: Hernandez and Welker are worlds apart

"......The Patriots made incredibly sound business decisions with Hernandez and Gronkowski. You have to make those signings if you can, regardless of what the other contract dynamics are....."

"..... The Hernandez and Gronkowski money? That's money well spent...."

Be nice to the bartenders and bouncers at whatever dive you're drinking this afternoon, Tommy.

Through the internet, your words live on, Curran. What a blowhard!

Re: Patriots Offering To Exchange Aaron Hernandez Jerseys

OJ was found innocent too.

Anyway, class move on the part of the Pats. It is a PR move to be sure, but who can blame them? I think this is the right button to push. Kraft doesn't have a lot of options for handling this, but he's doing a bang up job so far.

Or, we could be like the Ravens, and prepare a statue for him in front of the stadium.

Aside from me, TEC is the most reasonable Rhode Islander around. But he is a ball buster and he needs to eat, too. He'll be here eventually to explain his rationale.

His completely wrong rationale.

That's a quote from my wife's wedding vows.
