Explosive New Hernandez Details

Funny that you should accuse the NFL of being a soap opera despite the fact you just came up with one of your own.

I'm not, just regurgitating everything that has been reported that doesnt make any sense at all.

Little to no media reports of the deceased or the two men in the car with Hernandez. Sounds to me like the police already know what happened and why it happened. Hernandez is being irresponsible here for sure ... he has his reasons which we will know at some point.

I think the media needs to be digging up info on the deceased and the people with Hernandez at this point. Too much attention being thrown in the wrong direction by them. The missing car with the missing mirror is the key ... that car had the shooter in it.

The media only cares about what people will watch. Hernandez is a celebrity. This stopped being a story about victim as soon as the media camped out at his house.

I would caution that you cant say he is being irresponsible without know the reasons/facts. It would not be irresponsible for an innocent person who was at the scene of the crime to clam up so as to not risk false accusation. And he is acting under direction of his lawyer.
Frankly, telling what you know on your terms to protect yourself is not irresponsible. Solving the crime in one day or one week isn't really a large difference that would make him a demon for causing to protect himself.

Of course he may also be the triggerman, so it would be very responsible to cover up as much as he can.

I am going to arbitrarily decide which news reports I feel are accurate because they back up my own personal narrative that I am now too invested in to wait around for authoritative information.

There is no way his neighbors would have been woken up by gunshots that far away. And they are saying he WAS shot where the body was found. No moving him around.

There are some jobs, not high profile or sensitive where it may not be as big of an issue. I think this is an issue for the NFL which is a sport and entertainment. I do think people are entitled to work after they have served their time but they are not entitled to a specific job. Ray Lewis should have been kicked out of the game period.

I think there are some very good attorneys who would gladly have argued that the NFL (i.e. not an individual team) does not have the authority to permanently ban an individual for some action unrelated to the business (not the image) of the NFL. And I very much doubt that even Roger Goodell would want to fight (and lose) that battle.

My guess is they will stop once you and the rest of village idiots stop posting.

Try it and let's see.

Here's an idea, lower your Pats foam finger so you can get a better view of what's unfolding right in front of you. It's funny how the same cast of characters that defended Dennard right up until his conviction are once again curled up in a ball afraid to confront the reality that a Pats player could do wrong.

How about people want to wait and see what happens instead of making a judgement early. I love how that is so crazy to people.

Still think the Jets QB situation is more f'd up then AH'S situation. ;)

He is getting arrested, via Schefter.

Bedard has reported that Hernandez "regressed" and became "more brazen" after getting his contract extension. He initially was difficult to deal with his rookie year, but matured a little, then things seemed to have gone downhill.

Either way, it's just sad that a fine young man with so much potential has just thrown it all away.

We don't know that yet...

Until an official comes out and says something or Aaron Hernandez is in handcuffs, I will no longer listen to these media "reports" from close "sources" Its all been false up to this point. he may be innocent or guilty, but as of now, everything ive heard from smahed cameras and phones to rented cars, im taking with a grain of salt...

How about we agree to disagree...

No.

You seem to be one of those fans that drinks all the kool-aid and walks around with Blinders on all day.

Taking a cautious approach because there has been so much conflicting information does not make one a kool-aid drinker.

There is afr too much here to NOT think he is guilty of something.

This sort of bull**** 'logic' is what leads to mob justice and people like the security guard at the Olympics getting their lives ruined despite being innocent.

It is also why we don't have trials in the court of the public opinion. Reports based on 'sources' are not facts. Does it seem likely that he is guilty of something if most of these reports are true? Yes. But plenty of innocent people have had their lives ruined because people like YOU were in such a rush to believe the media.

PS - You're basing judgments on reports from the media - a group whose ultimate goal is to sell papers and ad time, not to get it right.

And for all you people out there that keep saying all these media leaks are wrong, tell me that tomorrow morning, after an arrest is made and charges are filed.

Was Hernandez arrested yesterday? If he wasn't then the reports saying he would be were wrong. Let's leave the goal posts where they are instead of moving them to fit your own personal opinion.

And yeah - you're entitled to my opinion, nobody is saying otherwise. Just like I'm entitled to mine which I'm expressing now. Thanks for the civics lesson, though.

It also seems that his bad decisions may impact his young daughter's life negatively. Sad.

ofcourse he is getting arrested...and it will be today...only an idiot would think other wise at this point.

Agree with the other poster...amazing how closely your posting style resembles Yehoodi's.

Gunshots can definitively be heard that far away. I live a mile away from hunting grounds and sometimes it sounds like they're a hundred yards away.

Odin was shot several times at close range ... that usually signifies snitch got silenced.

The sad thing is if some random guy gets murdered they gloss over it in one or two reports and then that's it. Then the report on it again if the police arrest someone. But more or less it is forgotten as quickly as it was reported.

But now with a very well known NFL player tied to the victim it is the story of the summer.

You are who you roll with Andy ... several Patriots players have already said off the record Aaron changed after signing his deal. Doesn't make him guilty of anything but it does open him up to trouble when people he knows commit a crime and he just happened to be there.

Irresponsible is a choice ... a choice Aaron said was his past when he signed the deal.
