At least one NFL team accused of illegally asking sexual orientation questions

It's a legit question. If they are sexually attracted to men then that could be a real problem in the locker room.

Think outside the box

Could be an asset

Another pole to hang your towel on in the shower!

There are women reporters in the locker room getting raped all the time.

I never mentioned rape. Dont marginalize my truthful statement with such an off the wall suggestion. Homosexuality makes a lot of people really uncomfortable because it is a deviation from the norm.

I'm pretty sure if the men and women in uniform can deal with it, so can NFL athletes.

I'd like to know where you hang out. In my line of work, I don't get to parade my tots in front of some very hot (but unfortunately clothed) women. Yet that's an NFL locker room.

Not only that, but the movie was so well known that almost any casino you go to,has a slot machine with this movie as its theme.

I rest my case. One armed bandit for blue hairs.

Funny..... I hang out with people from ages 1-100, and the adults and teens all know all 3 of those movies. Also, your rating of Airplane! is ridiculously low, but it does explain a lot.

I hang out with about 100 18-22 years olds 3 times a week for 15 weeks in the fall, and then another set of 100 18-22 year olds for that amount of time in the spring. You'd be amazed what they don't know. They don't know who Scorsese is, never heard of the Clash. Leslie Nielsen to them holds nor interest (nor frankly, to me).

I've attempted an Inspector Clouseau imitation in front of those age groups and got nothing but blank stares.

I for one would not be amazed at what they don't know, pop culture aside.

:hijacked: Hold up a second here....

1. He's right, Animal House is way better than Airplane. I don't know about his 1/8 rating, but from my leather backed chair, Animal House is the gold standard of comedy.

2. That doesn't make Airplane bad. I bought it for my daughter last Christmas. We've thoroughly enjoyed it together. Hey home', I can dig it. Know ain't gonna lay no mo' big rap up on you, man!

3. I can make a hat, a brooch, or a Pterodactyl.

Granted, at 27, I'm a little out of the age range that you're referencing, but Scorcese is one of my favorite directors and I like the Clash. Never been a huge Nielsen fan, although I saw all of the Naked Gun movies. Not sure what all of that means, except that I'm somewhat skeptical of your anecdote. You're saying that a bunch of 22 year olds have never seen the Departed? I have a bunch of friends in their early 20s, and every single one of them, without exception, is familiar with Scorcese and the Clash.

They could have asked that stupid question a little more discreetly. I would suggest the following questions as a substitute:

1) Are you able to identify and discuss some of the latest trend in fashion, e.g., shoes or purses?

2) Have you ever considered a career in interior design?

3) Have you ever felt an urge to purchase and wear Uggs boots? Oh wait.. :bricks:

Never sought them out, but my wife bought me a pair of Ugg slippers for the house and they friggin rule.

Update to the original story. Another team asked him the following questions.

"Nick, do you like movies about Gladiators?"
"Nick, have you ever been in a Turkish prison

My friend must like those kind of movies. He's always saying he's gladiator.

As a 28 year old, I can vouch for Airplane! being an awesome movie. Or at least it was when I was growing up. Not sure if it's aged well since or not.

I've been traveling all day and a bit tired. But with all the posts made on the thread I find it remarkable that no one found it ironic that the player who is making the accusation is a TE.

I'm very disappointed in you guys.

Hopefully this doesn't knock Kasa down teams' draft boards. He was right to speak out, if true.

I hope it does because I WANT HIM for the Pats. I LOVE HIM for his Gronk like size and athleticism.

In all seriousness, I've liked him as a draft prospect for ages.

If BB takes him or any other TE with his 1st 3 picks, I'm switching over to the Jets
