Wes has been tweeting like a madman. "Professional tweeter that wastes his talents playing American Football."

The Bonk website sucks and there's no dealers that come up in the search for the Boston area. I'd try the bars but I'd like to try one and they only offer a case to buy a case.

FaceBook is better. More publicity there and Wes see's it as well. I issued a challege to boost likes on it. lol. I did my small part. Roger sukks.

@ochocinco since I'm the first white receiver to get fined. Did I earn some RESPECT? Kind of like beating up the school bully?

Welker has been so funny on Twitter, he blows up my feed even more than Chad now.

I seen that Welker follows Ventrone on Twitter. I clicked Ventrone's Twitter but it was different than I expected. I thought I was gonna see something like:

dude, you're already bonking.
they have a 6 pack sampler for 14 bux.

I think bonk breakers should hand out 10k hats at the pats game.

He said in a tweet: "“Thanks for warning me the other 16 weeks I wore the hat.” WW might as well write another check for $10k more while he's at it.

hmmm something tells me he might get called into BB's office for that tweet..

I'd love to see the Pats players tweets if some unknown somebody ran up and punched Goodell right in his face during one of his NY news conferences outside NFL headquarters....in fact ,if a Mack truck happened to make a grease spot out of this turd on 5th avenue during rush hour, odds are the people nearby would step right over him and go into a deli nearby for coffee and a knish.

yup..it's me...conspiracy theory Joker...odd...17 weeks, Jetdell has to mete out this "fine"...but he waits until week 17, on the eve of the game that will determine the first seed in the AFC playoffs...and drops all this sh!tstorm of publicity and more ill will from the hater media right on top of the NEP...again....what a coinky dinky...in fact..it's ALWAYS a coincidence of timing isn't it?

I'm no Goodell fan, but let's get real about this particular incident. "Unauthorized hat" is just a euphemism. Welker was fined for turning himself into a commercial billboard on the NFL's dime, which ever player knows is verboten. The only surprise is that it took them so long to rap his knuckles.

Not a big deal, he got what he wanted in the end, and nobody but diehard Pats fans will even notice.

I remember Urlacher got fined for wearing a VitaminWater hat during the SB's media day. I think his was $10k as well. Yeah, the NFL does not like it when companies get free advertisement on their expense.

thus my tin foil hat response....if Goodell was employing due diligence then Welker would have been fined in September...why the wait then???....here it is, the eve of the second season and NOW..."blab blab blab blab!!!fine fine fine@! NFL cracks down!!! Goodell incensed!!!"...if I had known about this in September, I can guarantee you I would have called THIS....maybe not exactly because I would have thought he'd wait even longer to get an even worse disruption for the Pats...but the fact that the fine comes out NOW?...too much coincidence...again...it's always a curious coincidence with this ex Jet employee.

Looks like a $10,000 hat to me stupid Goodell

The only thing the Bears couldn't beat in Super Bowl XX was Jim McMahon's fine of $5,000 by Rozelle after Jim wore an Adidas logo headband during the game

Even way back in 1986 it was costly.

Response from Bonk Breakers on their Facebook page:

"OK all, Bonk Breaker has broken new ground today with one of our athletes (who shall go unnamed, but his name sounds like Ves Velker) got fined for wearing the famous Bonk Breaker podium cap. Does that officially mean we are hitting the big time?"

LOL. Ves Velker.

This is why TB wears that goofy patriots knit hat to press conferences and also why BB wears Official NFL Sanctioned clothing on the sideline that may be tattered...

Stupid rules for the NFL.. focus on the product.

The irony here that no one in the Commissioner’s office seems to be able to see is that thanks to THEIR actions, as of today Bonk Breaker is getting more attention than they ever would have if Goodell just let it slide

If I’m a sponsor like Bonk Breaker I’m more than happy to compensate Welker for a helluva lot more than that fine

Heck – one could make the case that the bigger the fine, the bigger the PR, the bigger the compensation for the player should be

Goodell’s actions here stand to encourage, not discourage, these type of actions in the future

so, in essence, what you are saying is that Roger Goodell is a bumbling, fumbling incompetant and his decision making is specious at best. I agree. Is there any way to impeach this cretin???

Not until revenue streams dry up or he gets caught walking around in a thong.

Gronk got his brother to wear a thong...

Back to Victoria's Secret, Gronk! You didn't get your commissioner anything for the holidays!

All goodell cares about are $$$$$$, he's ruining the game in the name of the almighty dollar

Wes probably thought he'd get fined week 1 and get the publicity, instead it took Goodell 16 weeks to notice
