FWIW, I'd like to bring up the class Tebow showed. He came over and tapped Carter on the helmet and then applauded when he was taken off in the cart.

Say what you want about Tebow but you don't opposing QB's do that.

This is the NFL man. It's the receivers job to run the correct rout. The Patriots are about perfection....and they all practice very hard week in and week out to attempt to achieve perfection. If a receiver makes a mental mistake he deserved to hear about. Period.

I don't want a likeable quarterback. I want Tom Brady....and I want a Tom Brady who is intense and focused.

Tim Tebow will probably be selling cars in Florida in 5 years. But at least he didn't yell at his receivers during his 10 minutes of fame

Tebow is a good kid.

He is a good kid and I don't understand some the hatred thrown his way. If the hatred is because of the attention he is getting (fairly or unfairly warranted attention), be upset with the media hype machine. While I am not one for the religious outpouring, so what if that is what motivates him? I doubt any of him teammates would say he is forcing his religion on them.

The NFL would be well served to have more players with the character and disposition of Tebow. I suspect there is more of them, however, they probably won't get the attention from the media hype machine.

Because TB is our quarterback does not make him a thing of virtue. He certainly does not have to be the nicest guy in the league to be a good QB and a good guy. TB from most accounts and from what I can see appears to be a good guy. As pointed out by the poster I quoted, I'd rather he can also temper his niceness with the acerbic fire for winning. With that said, I personally don't want to win with the biggest D Bags either. I'd rather have Tebow and win what we can with him versus having the world's biggest lawbreaking jerk behind center. Fortunately TB is a lot closer to Tebow than he is to the latter.
