Obviously nobody should put much of any weight into any week one pre-season game, but even with that caveat it does appear right now that there is a good chance that a few Pats players that are not going to make the team are likely candidates to be picked up by another team within 48 hours of those final roster cuts.

LOL. Well that was thoroughly ENTERTAINING for a preseason game! What a pleasant romp. Nice to see the young guys do good. But I guarantee you BB will bring them back down to earth. There are still guys fighting for roster spots and there are 3 more preseason games to go. Let's hope they build on it and show us more good stuff in the weeks to come. Hella fun for fan watchin though! Wow, I really missed football!!

Shame. His rookie year showed such promise. But looks like he thinks too much out there and is always a step behind the play.

Even despite last season I thought he still had the makings to be a slot nickle back but doesn't look like he's done much in August.

I know. I truly like the kid and want him to emerge as a decent player at least. I just find it hard to give up on him at this point, but I'm just not seeing anything to be optimistic about right now.

If Vereen looks as good as ridley, where is the space on this roster for morris and/or gasp, faulk?!

In no easy am I saying that after one preseason game ridley should take over their duties but I'd rather keep the young guys if it's close. The young guys won't make it through to the ps.
