The coaches aren't siding with the players they are siding with the coaches, their job security, the capacity to perform their jobs and the financial implications that has for their style of living.
 
It would have been interesting to see how the coaches had acted if some owners hadn't stupidly begun cutting the salaries of the coaches (or at least talking about it) already.
 
Just sign the new CBA and let's play some FOOTBALL

They should just decline all penalties. Just have said coach do it. They'll allow it for that beautiful Croatian winning machine. They're better off playing five on five.

It would be even better to see them take some shots at Roloson during the PP.

I've never before seen a hockey team, at any level, that was both afraid to shoot and terrified to cut into the middle of the ice.
