The Pats didn't lose because the DL was decimated by injury.

The Pats lost because the DL was decimated by injury AND the rest of the team didn't do enough to overcome it.

Ditto the OLBs. Ditto the DBs (mainly Bodden) earlier in the season, Gostowski, and Neal. That's just a part of football. Your going to have some bad injuries somewhere every season.

What's the point. Another excuse.

The Pats lost because their offense was taken behind the tool shed and royally abused by the Jets players and coaching staff.

Indeed. That, and the fact that STs had some oopsies, and the fact that the defense was on the whole mediocre (some great drives, some not so great ones, and no takeaways or even particularly near misses at same).

The defense was twice put in some bad spots. i think they played about what we expected from them, maybe could've used a turnover or two.

The stand after the INT was brilliant. Some other drives? Not so much.
