a few other items that may not have been covered

1. I couldnt really find any empty seats in the whole stadium deep into OT. Despite the worst traffic in the NFL, no one seemed to leave early. Most people stood the entire OT.

2. I noticed #33 McCain for the Ravens having words with the endzone crowd in the 3rd quarter, back and forth for a while. Seemed pretty unprofessional, but so typical of the Ravens demeanor. Not surprising that this is the guy who lost it in OT and got the unnecessary roughness penalty in OT.

3. Lots of people around us saying "Who is that guy wearing Ted Johnsons jersey" when Dane Fletcher joined the D to spy Ray Rice. #52 Fletcherlooked fast and gave the D a different adjustment and look. Nice to see another undrafted free agent playing on the Pats

4. More than a few post-game tailgates broke out in our parking lot on a such a great afternoon! gotta take care of the pre-game tailgate leftovers somehow.... :rocker:

Feeling better about the trajectory of this season....

Many of my friends are Philly Eagle fans and once a year about 7-8 of us go down to catch an Eagle game. This past Sunday, One of our regular tailgate party was at the Raven game and providing me with real time text updates!. The Philly fans were smiling and encouraging when the Pats were closing the 10 point defecit. When they won, myself and some of our party, who are Pats fans whooped it up in the parking lot like we were there. Let me tell you, that was a great feeling.
BTW; Eagles fans have lost a little of their edginess. It got hot enough that early in our tailgate, I took off my sweatshirt and underneath was my NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS t-shirt. We decided to walk around the lot to survey the Eagle buses and I only got one muted comment!.

The train ride home sucked! Took almost 2 hours

We tailgated for some time after the game, at least until 6:30 or 7:00, maybe later... it was a victory well worth extra celebration!

Us too.

The crowd seemed a little drunker than usual on the way out...the extra quarter might explain it, except that they stop selling beer after halftime.

I don't remember seeing the crowd that excited about a regular season win.

Me three. My group stayed till 7 tailgating, the atmosphere was great after the game and it just seemed right to keep it going. :D
