Moss responds to Revis

I would have to say that for the most part Revis backs up his talk, then again Moss is one of the best.

I think the Pats will throw away from Revis, he is quite good.

I heard those two guys Brady and Moss were as well. ;)

most of the time yes.....

I expect 40 yard play action bombs to Moss at least 2-3 times during this game

having that option opens up the slot for Welker... and the run game once it has been established.

Gunnails!! How have you been?? What's up with your team- losing 5, your QB's eating hotdogs on the sideline, reading written statements at the podium, and your tubby is crying these days. What's going on?

This would not surprise me, need to keep the Jets D honest

I have been busy, but quite well thank you.:)

Rookie Coach, Rookie QB, expected injuries, they are what we thought they would be going into the season. Ya know, next year and the year after is where I think they can be contenders (where Have I heard that before). :D

They are who we thought they were? LOL. From what I heard early on it sounded like Jets fans expected the playoffs and taking the AFCE title away from the Pats! What happened to the bravado? Oh right, reality and the NFL season set in. :p

Yupp. Revis took Moss away. I never doubted him but today he has proven all doubters that he can shut M0$$ down to an extent no matter how many times Brady goes out of his way to help Moss in his quest to prove otherwise.

revis over moss all day

Unfortunatly, it left Welker to catch his customary 7-8 balls and Moss's 6-7 as well.

The more important match-up today was the Sanchez to Bodden connection. That could have really hurt us.............. if Bodden was one of your WR and not our DB. ;)

I dunno- talk about shutting him down is overrated. What really matters is that a) Moss scored a TD, and b) Welker was so consistently open that we just went to him all day instead.

Moss only scored on it because it was out of a run option play that Revis never saw coming.

Revis has the speed and leverage to keep up with Moss, period. Why shouldn't he?

Moss is into his 30's, and we all know the day would eventually come when he'd become mortal.

No it didn't unless Moss was being double teamed. Revis doesn't cover Welker and Moss. He did his job on Moss and whoever was on Welker didnt. Revis doing his job on Moss had nothing with Welker running wild.

that touchdown was garbage revis was not even ready on the play. the fact of the matter is moss said he was going to be ready and he didn't do anything. they were matched in single coverage together and moss like every other game he has played against revis couldn't do anything.

Correct. Ryan didn't gameplan for Welker on the underneath and he paid for it dearly.

true, but welker running wild effectively made revis's great job not mater...

rofl, weakest explanation ever.

"Revis wasn't ready! Do-over! No fair!"

the fact is revis always get the better of him. this was a topic on how moss would have a good game and how he was so pissed. but revis always gets the better of him. the pats did their thing today and outplayed the jets i cannot deny that. but revis shut down the great moss once again.
