Lost in the afterglow from yesterday's victory was Sands' performance after, what, 1 or 2 practices? Dude got push, and by the second or third series, was commanding double teams, with Birk getting help from either the Left or Right guard. The more double teams this guy commands, the easier it is for AD, Guyton, or others to shoot the gaps with stunts and blitzes to the QB. Sands deserves props for a job well done, and which will only get better.
