its ironical that we dont run the ball a lot inspite of collecting all those running backs.
It's hard to do when they get 2 yards a pop if they're lucky

I'd say I'm a little worried about it given that we can't run without holding and have yet to protect the QB after two games.
if cassel is behind center today the patriots win comfortably
They actually ran more effectively today than throwing it. Until BB took Taylor out. He's the only back that was effective today
Seriously. The D has exceeded early expectations. Considering all the losses (especially Seymour and Mayo, who had once been counted on), I'm not losing sleep over the D.
I'm pretty sure that the offense will find it's groove. Edelman for 98 ? Wacko. Let's be thankful it's early. The only thing that is frustrating is the loss was inside the AFCE... conference losses cost this team last year.
The Pats need to run more but they are so obsessed with passing it's not even funny. I felt the same way in 2007 but hey it worked 16 times so hard to criticize that. However today they had a drive were they were cramming the ball right down New yorks throat with old man Taylor for first down after first down but when they got down to around the Jet 30 they went back to shotgun and empty on 1st and 10 and went backwards with penalties and incompletions. I have no idea why they switched it up as every carry was very successful up to that point. We all know the Pats have an absolutely GREAT passing game when it's clinking by why not use it more in "cookie jar" like fashion. They can dip into it whenever needed and really keep defenses off balance. Now all opposing defenses that play the Pats just want to pressure Brady to stop there passing game. Why not run at them?
The defense has faced two shaky offenses and has failed when needed. The offense has been poor with the exception of a 5 minute stretch in game 1. The special teams have been anything but, with the exception of a forced fumble at the end of last week's game. The coaching staff is getting dominated by its opposition.
You should be losing sleep over pretty much every part of this team right now. Hopefully the training room staff is at the top of its game, because that's pretty much all we have right now.

Because he lead the Chiefs to an amazing win today?
"We have become a "Fancy Nancy" type of offense that isn't going to win a championship unless it has a great defense. And, we ain't got one of them either. The Jets played pretty much the whole game with 2 yes 2 f'n Def. linemen and we refused to pound the ball at them and make them play a normal defense. When a team is giving you 5-7 yards off tackle. Take it!! Hell, we averaged barely over 4yds per passing attempt. You aren't going to win many football games that way. We have the personnel to be a more balanced offense. Not sure we have the tenacity/desire to do it."
Yes...I agree
Brady is not Brady yet
the OL is average and not much more
running game below average
poor play calling... no draws,screens
No deep pass as said above
Deus I agree. The pats really have not played a great offensive team yet. Plus they are putting zero pressure on the QB which is just maddening to watch. No matter how great/awful a QB is you give him that much time he will kill you. They have done a decent job stopping the run and long passes but the short/screen/medium passes they are a step behind.
With that said I blame the O for this loss. However I still say the defense has plenty of holes in it.
