Considering some of the Texans' preseason expectations, it is a very good start. The question will they live up to those expectations this year or fall short. Based on the way they are playing today, they won't. But the first game can be deceiving.

Jets have played well exspecially the D. Their pressure on the QB has been good.


A lot of 'experts' have said people will try to pressure Brady as the Eagles, Ravens & Giants did at the end of 2007. Next week will be a good test of how the Pats will handle it.

Stafford has a 29.5 QB rating while Brees' is 123.1.

Stafford's is now 45.6.

Haven't see an adjustment to the heavy pressure up the middle, also Schaub is trying to beat it instead of adjusting, which is always a losing proposition. Also I have not seen one call for change of play at the snap.

I agree that they aren't doing much to counter the blitz until recently. Schaub is no Brady.

Sanchez looks better than Stafford. In fact, Sanchez looks better than Flacco. He makes smart decisions, and finds ways to make plays. He's like 80% successful on third down. I thought he was going to be a bust.
