Sorry, not able to view the game. Did Burgess play? If he did, how did he look?

Loser = Ben Watson. Could end up trade bait.

Winners not mentioned
Starting O-Line.....Brady barely had anyone around him.

Ingram...I thought one punt snap was low but no real mistakes and made every snap.

I'll have to regretfully nominate Terrence Wheatley. He seemed to be repeatedly out of position letting plays go past him. :( There's no question that Wilhite has fully leapfrogged him at this point.

they were definitely picking on him for a while there. on the flip side, i think they were avoiding butler's side. butler has a very good chance in my mind of passing Wheatley on the depth chart

Quite a refreshing kid isn't he, the high energy, play making ability is so far above and beyond what we'll ever see out of James Sanders.

James, you are a role player, I am tired of seeing you arrive late after a catch has already been made and the damage done. I cannot remember you ever, ever being around the football until the damage has been done and you make the tackle simply because all you concentrate on is keeping everything in front of you. We need more than that, that's why Chung will take your snaps as each game progresses.

Luckily no one of importance cares what you think.

As if they don't have enough tough decisions on the D-line, Pryor came from nowhere to make quite an impact. TBC also looked better than I expected, and Burgess contributed more than I thought he would after such a short time here.

Maroney, Maroney, Maroney... looks like the same old dancer to me. Like Watson, he's a guy I'm tired of hearing excuses for. But, while Morris looked great on the first few carries, later on we saw that he's just not a main-back kinda guy. We really need to see what Fred Taylor's got left in the tank. Thank God the O-line and pass-catchers on the team allow Brady to utilize the short passing game as a running game substitute. But it'd be nice to see a real kick-ass running game as well...

WINNERS: Brady (He is still very good), Butler(could become a play maker), Chung(Always around the ball), Edelman(good in the slot), Gost (Very confident in him), Hanson(has a leg), Ingram(good snapper), Pryor(relentless), Wilhite (good in coverage and tackling)

LOSERS: Wheatley(seemed lost sometimes), Maroney(his next dance move might be the moonwalk), Galloway (not too bad but dropped a pass and didn't bring in a pretty difficult catch), Alexander (just doesn't show improvement and should have batted a pass down), Richardson (should have batted a pass down or picked it).

Banta-Cain wasn't a loser. He had a sack but he needs to improve his tackling.

I am not buying that Baker is better than Watson yet. He made open TD catches.

Meriweather is out best DB hands down.

The losers deserve a second chance like Edelman got. His second chance made him the biggest winner of the day.

The rest I believe didn't earn or lose their spot.

Losers.

Galloway. Rough night.

.

There was one play that caught my attention in person that may not have been visible on TV. On the play after Moss caught the long bomb down the left sideline and they lined up in the hurry up, Galloway seemed unsure of where to line up and it was Edelman who directed him to the proper position. Whether Galloway was having problems learning the playbook or Edelman was that comfortable as a rookie that he knew not only his position but that of other players says a lot....

Morris is our most reliable RB. He just had a bad day with the 2s

I realize he was going up against second and third stringers, but despite that I like the way BJGE runs. I can't really say he was a winner due to the level of competition, but I'm hoping he earned the chance to play against some first stringers next week to show what he's got. I know most here say he's on the bubble or even there's no way he makes it unless someone gets hurt, but I thought he showed some good quick decisions and he fought for the extra yard a couple times.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing him. But he just doesn't have the ability to be the main man, in the same way Faulk doesn't. If Fred still has something left, we can live with another season of Maroney's "So You Think You Can Dance?" routines.

In my opinion, the only losers of the night were Alexander and Yates, but we pretty much already knew they sucked.

Yet we'll see people ripping on Maroney when, once again, I'm sure he'll average the same or better YPC as the other running backs.

Not to mention the first-string run blocking left something to be desired.

I believe it was a no hurdle offense and Brady told Edelman the play cos he was the closest WR to him and it was then Edelman's responsibility to tell Galloway the play.

Yeah, and he actually made them, without dropping them, which already puts him one-up on Watson...

Watson is good with Brady. When we had Reche, Watson was good.

love Law Firm too but i think RBs like him can always be found even if he is cut. I think we carry 5 Backs this season cos we have no FB. We would also carry 3 TEs
